im sure everyone already knows, but to the few who live under a rock, rematch of last years finals on sunday @ pittsburgh. NBC bringing out the big guns with the new "STAR CAM"

NBCSPORTS.COM PRESENTS "STAR-CAM": NBCSports.com will offer a "Star-cam" in conjunction with NBC broadcasts, which will follow one player on each team throughout each of his shifts. Following the game, NBCSports.com will present a post-game show with game highlights and highlights from "Star-cam" and "Net-cam," along with analysis from McGuire and Milbury.

i also have a quick question for those with center ice experience. if our game is NOT chosen as game of the week, does it go back to FSNdetroit or is it blacked out?? example of likely game that will not make GOTW

Sunday, March 15, 12:30 p.m. ET

Detroit @ Columbus

It would go back to the local affiliate.

and if Columbus doesn't completely collapse this year like they did last year, that game could probably be in consideration until that weekend.

Unfortunately looking at the schedule, there's a game involving one of the two teams ALWAYS guaranteed to be on NBC if they are playing (those teams are the Rangers and Pittspuke) and that game is the NYR vs. Philly. Even if Columbus and Detroit are 1 and 2 in the West at this point NBC would put the Rangers or the Penguins in the slot instead.

So look for that game to be on FSN Detroit and, in my case, FSN Ohio.

As a hockey fan and not a Wings fan, I'd rather watch the Rangers/Flyers.

Just sayin'.

"STAR CAM"? You mean CROSBY CAM. I for one, will skip out on NBC over to FSN. I'm not going to listen to McGuire groping himself over Malkin and Crosby.

Yeah, that's going to be an annoying broadcast. If anything, they should be gushing over Malkin.

and he if he had Crosby's baby face, and a good fine Canadian (or American!) background, they would be.

Whatever, the HD on NBC is incredible, so I'll put up with the crosby riding to watch a game in great quality.

Yep, me too. Having to watch anything in analog makes me sad. FSN HD is pretty good but the big networks really have it kickin'. I'm not sure if there really is a difference, just seems like it.

Trying to watch Hockey Night in Canada is torture for the eyes.
