I'm glad I will get to see Downey play before they ship him back down. I missed the last two games, but I heard that the team was playing "playoff hockey." Let's run with that mentality.

Wings 4 - (Hudler, Franzen, Sammy, Zetterberg)

BJs - 1

The Jackets cannot hack it, their talk they cannot back it

And the Wings will do their thing and make ‘em pay.

Though Boll will play his role and be acting like a troll

He’ll end up looking mostly like he’s ***.

Bad boy Raffi Torres will end up playing poor as

Some fourth-liner from Jamaica Bay.

Wings will surely bash the forward known as Nash

and turn him into hash, or curds and whey.

The Wings as a whole, are really on a roll

And Columbus and their team is now their prey.

Here’s to this night's game, may it be anything but tame

And the Wings fight on to win and whoop, "Hooray!"

i'd like to see huds and filppula on the top two lines (huds 1 with datsyuk, flip 2 with zetterberg) and see sammy and kopy knocked down the depth chart. who knows if the lines that have been projected will stay together any amount of time tonight. then again, kopecky has been playing well as of late so who knows?

i haven't gotten a chance to see the big rig play yet--looking forward to that. i'd like to see flipper stay hot and huds get some quality time with results tonight. big night from houdini as well.

wings squeak this one out 2-1 or 3-2 IMO.

He's struggled his last three games. Let's stop acting like this guy is Brodeur.

You're right.... but no one is going to score 14 goals in a hockey game anytime soon.. hasn't happend this season? 10-2 is the most is it not?

Exactly. I personally love the fights, but some people just rant and rave about how the only way to win is to have a team full of enforcers beating the snot out of everyone they play.

exactly, my brother in law is a flyers fan, he hates us because we dont fight, and i tell him exactly what kira said, not that we dont fight, just dont need to in order to win. my argument with him is, a team full of players like that cant control their tempers, and 99% of the time take bad penalties. look at the flyers boxscores, they easily take 5 penalties a game, one instance he told me they took 10 minors. imagine, on a night where it is clicking, what our PP could do to them. im anxious to see how we fare against them on the 17th, with their team full of people who like to mix it up with cheap shots and instigators. if we can keep our cool, should be an easy game.

Do the wings want to lose?

I mean its like Babcock pulled names out of a hat and decided those would be the lines...

I honestly think that this is a reward type move because he has stepped up some the last few games. You know Babcock juggles lines when needed and for the start Kopecky will get second line minutes. BTW haven't heard much from Happy Hudler in a few games, could he have peaked? Good for Kopecky! I am not saying he is 2nd liner, but for the way he has been playing he deserves a bone once too!

5-1 Wings! (Kopecky, Cleary, Datsyuk, Hank, Ericsson - Nash (doesn't he always?))

Question: What's the highest scoring game in NHL history?

Answer: The most goals scored by one team in an NHL game was 16. The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Quebec Bulldogs 16-3 on March 3, 1920.

In the same season, Montreal helped set the record for most goals by two teams in a single game. The Canadiens and Toronto St. Patrick's combined for 21 goals on January 10, 1920, with Montreal winning 14-7. The Edmonton Oilers and Chicago Blackhawks tied the record on December 11, 1985. The Oilers won 12-9.

No one should take any record before 1970 seriously.

atdhe.net does not have a stream. Nor the channelsurfing... Could someone please give me a stream for tonight's game?

Listen to the Wings radio feed at NHL.com. Atdhe had to take down their NHL streams because of a C&D letter from the NHL. The only ones they provide are the Yahoo! feeds when they show games.
