The Wings will win....

I'm sick of all the negativity around here. Nobody expected this to be an easy series, so why are a lot of people saying the Wings will lose game 7 before it is even played?

Here is why the Wings will win game 7 tomorrow:

The Wings are a better team. They have more depth, more skill, and a lot of playoff experience. They know what it takes to win. They have their backs against the wall now, and all of them will come out tomorrow with a fire under their ass. Plus they are at home.

There have been a lot of bad breaks in this series. Look at last game alone, the Ducks first goal was pure luck. Their second goal was a nice deflection. How many times did I see the Wings miss the net with a deflection? Also there were a few questionable off-side calls at the end of the game that ruptured the flow of the Wings trying to tie it up. And they still almost did at the very end. Simply put the Ducks are getting better breaks than the Wings. You can argue that the Ducks are working harder, therefore deserving of these breaks. But don't give me that, both teams are working hard. All of the Wings loses in this series have been close games that involved a lot of bad breaks (bad calls/penalties/no goals). The Wings lost last night by 1 goal (lucky goal), lost game 2 by 1 goal (3 OT), and lost game 3 by 0 goals.

The Wings have been proven to step it up big in pressure situations. Look what happened in game 4. If they lost that game, the series was nearly over, but they came out and kicked ass. Game 5 is the same story. No one wants to be down 3-2 (80-90% of game 5 winners advance, I forget the actual number), and the Wings kicked ass yet again. Look at the regular season, when the NHL leading Sharkies came to the Joe, the Wings stepped it up big time and kicked their ass. Another time that comes to mind is the Winter Classic/back to back games with Chicago. The Wings were not playing well before those 2 games, and at risk of losing the division lead to the Blackhawks. They stepped it up and kicked their asses twice.

Game 7 is a pressure situation, and I fully expect the Wings to come out, guns blazing, and kick some Duck ass.

This is perhaps the most intelligent thing I have read on the internet in quite some time.

The Wings have been playing like someone put Sominex in their Gatorade all year long. When they shake off that attitude, they are a force to be reckoned with. Tomorrow is the first time all year that they are risking elimination. I see no reason for them not to come out firing.

Bad ice, bad refs, bad bounces, posts, and injuries can and do happen. Despite these things, the Wings have what it takes to rise above them if they just play the game they can.

I think we will win in fashion similar to game 4. I think the Ducks little post-game stunt was a big mistake on their part. It was their last chance to give there home fans a little bit of glory because it was the last time they will see them this season... And they know it.

I have a good feeling about tomorrow's game, to be honest. I felt really good before Game 5 yet really uneasy at Game 6, so hopefully the pattern continues. I think the good Wings team will show up. Stay out of the box and crash ANaheim's net. Play hard and wear Anaheim down. Don't play conservative. Hammer them. Who cares if we give up 8 goals so long as we score 9.

I forgot to mention the bad ice in Anaheim. I remember 3 fanned passes in the first 10 minutes of the game last night. One in our own zone which lead to a Ducks shot on goal. The bad ice hurts a skilled team like the Wings a hell of a lot more than a team full of goons. What has it been like 90 degrees in Anaheim lately? Tough to keep good ice in that.

Had the same feeling to be honest and i don't just make up stuff to get me confident, i really felt confident about game 5 as i now do about game 7 and i really didn't know about game 6, i didn't get that strong feeling about game 6 like i have for games 5 & and now 7.

GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In order to become a champion, you have to earn it

In order to win a championship you have to elliminate the teams that stand in your way

If you can't beat a team, you have no business of being that champion

The Wings are an all around better team. Strict luck can not carry you through a game 7.

There is a reason why we won the Stanley Cup last year. THis team has to dig deep, reflect on those reasons and come out and kick their ass.

1st goal is essential. An early 1st goal would be a Godsend and a confidence booster.

Now is their time to get all their ducks in a row and pull out the elephant gun.

Umm 4 lines still running. Rafs can only get better. Advantage of the line changing is in the Wings favor. The Wings just need to want to win this game. Just too many bad bounces last game. That's the way things go in the playoffs. Wings will win this one.

I hope the OP is right.

I also hope that Brad Watson and Dan O'Halloran aren't officiating the next game.

Who is the best active Ref anyways? who do you want?

The good thing about bad bounces is that they tend to even themselves out. That, plus the fact that the Wings are the better team means a win tonight. Just bring the passion boys.
