Man, it felt great to see that puck go in. I've come to really hate OT recently so what a pleasant surprise to see the Wings finally win one. The Hawks played a great game. I hesitate to say the Wings stole one, but I get the sense that maybe they took Chicago's best punch tonight. I still think the Hawks will be better in Chicago, but for a game at the Joe, this had to be a bit of a stomach punch loss for the Hawks.

Samuelsson is a playoff warrior! Great game by Ozzie.

As someone else said, now we can rest for a couple days. With a 2-0 series lead, I won't be as on edge for game 3.

I was so nervous during the OT that I had to walk away from my computer. My stomach was all in knots and my hands were shaking and though I was confident we'd pull a win out, I was still nervous.

So a couple seconds ago I come back to the computer to see if anything has changed and I noticed that big happy up there at the top and I started shrieking and running around the upstairs. My father is less than pleased of course, but oh well.

The 3rd line had a couple of great shifts in the OT, only fitting that they got the GWG on such a beautiful play.

Once again our depth is too much to handle for the Hawks.

This wasn't Hossa and Datsyuk's "breakout" game, but I thought they showed some promise tonight. Next game?

Ozzie was awesome tonight.

I wager that a good portion of the posters on these boards are sick and tired of your constant panicmongering, negativity and complaining. Are you a fan of the Wings? I don't think so. I'd call you a bandwagoner who plainly feels entitled to seeing the Wings utterly dominate every game and feels somehow deprived regardless of the outcome of the game if they do not play perfectly and who, further, has no absolutely gratitude whatsoever for the team's success. Empirical evidence leads me to believe that you'd find something to criticize and complain about regardless of how the team played.

How about some props to Hudler and Flip too? Flip especially on that one - that was a great play by three forwards who know how to play together. Any one of them screwed up a little and we'd still be sweating. Man, all three really are showing up aren't they? I'll take that 3rd line over ANY in the game.
