Well, I have only watched one period of the last two games. I'm out of state, but I'll be back in time for game 5. Man, it's worse hearing about stuff like Lidstrom being out when you're not able to turn on the news or log on to find out what the deal is. I finally got back to the hotel to catch up online, but it was pretty scary. Glad to hear it doesn't sound too terrible.

Anyway, good to get one in Chicago and hopefully have a chance to close out the series in game 5. Two days off between games doesn't hurt.

I was just over on the blackhawk board and it's laughable reading them talking about the refs. I mean seriously, they were going out of their way to interfere with and deliberately elbow players, etc and they don't expect to get called? Come on. And 20 of those minutes were misconducts which don't result in a PP anyway.

Laughable. And suddenly they are saying the league is in a love fest with the Red Wings. Yah right. When was the last commercial we saw of us hoisting the cup? And they are in a love fest with us? I mean seriously. Hawks fans, take some damn accountability for yourselves. You guys gooned it up. Suffer the consequences.

And I'm sick of hearing that the Hawks have the same skill as Detroit when it's really not even close. The series will be over in 5 and you won a game that you blew a 3-0 lead in 4:32 and barely won the one game. Seriously, your team has a ways to go. It was a nice run this year for you, but bye bye. Don't be afraid to admit it. Your day is coming where you'll be on top, it's just not this year. Goodness Gracious.

And I'm sick of hearing that the Hawks have the same skill as Detroit when it's really not even close.

I've said it before, but no team in the league can begin to compete with the Wings in terms of pure skill. If you're going to beat the Wings in a best of seven, you need to be built like the Ducks and play like them.

You know it's a beatdown when the winning team pulls their goalie for the 3rd because they're up so much and they have an extra day of rest for Game 5. What's even worse is the Wings didn't have their best offensive and defensive players. The thing about this series is and has been experience. The Wings did get alot of penalties this afternoon but it was absolutely nothing like the amount of penalties the Hawks got and almost all of the Hawks 14 minors were roughing. Just absolutely no composure or self-control from this team and proof that this team as I've always said is not ready yet to be a winner. The Hawks don't have a chance to win a title for the next 4-5 years. They just have no REAL leadership.

what an amazing game for the Wings.

Hossa and Filppula were the best players in the game, Huet got chased, the Wings managed to win a game in a convincing fashion without Lidstrom and Datsyuk, the series is 3-1 Red Wings.

Perhaps I should start a new thread so that more people notice but... eh.

This was the montage CBC played before Game 4. My favorite moment is the look on Lidstrom's face at 1:04 as Burish tries to s*** talk him. You can just sense the "You wanna f*** with me?!" look in his eyes.

I know they lost that game, but that was still the moment in which the Wings proceeded to score 3 straight goals.

Lol Hossa and Fil really stepped up for us this game, hoping to close this out on wednesday. Although personally I felt it should have been a sweet. But too late for that now. Golf season awaits Chi-town.
