I've been optimistic, but this is like 5 games in a row they've blown a late lead. This season may just be too far gone for them. Sad to say.

yep -- too many chances blown.. dont think there will be many more.. just lose a few more games and we'll be out of the picture completely and honestly it wont even worth watching them fight. we'll know before the olympic break our fate.

It's not the injuries, the Wings are simply pathetic. Chance after chance to gain ground and for the third time in four games, a two goal lead is blown, this time with a minute and a half left. What a ******* joke. People here have suggested Babcock has lost the group and I'm starting to think that way as well. No goal scoring and zero heart. The energy line and Howie have been the lone bright spots but even Jimmy has been nothing more than decent of late.
