dragonballgtz 273 Report post Posted January 28, 2010 The other team scores on crazy bounces, straight-on shots, yet our team can't score on wide open freaking nets. What a brutal season. These past few weeks have been awful. It's like the team is getting worse each and every game while getting healthier. I'm still confused about the math, after tonight we have 29 games left, that is 58 possible points and if Calgary wins and we lose we are 1 pt out of 8th. Why cant we make the playoffs? Doesn't excuse how we're playing but this happens even when we're playing good. It happens in every game, no matter who is playing who ...one team gets f***ed by the refs and i'm sick of watching the game I love go down the toilet. No kidding. I just rewound that and watched it again. Kronwall clearly got punched in the back of the head and not only that but the ref was staring right at it and nothing. This right after the roughing call on Rafalski after he got punched in the head. Unf***ing believeable. I mean its one thing to call cheap penalties on us but then to not call s*** that could seriously injure more of our players is completely ridiculous. I fail to see the point because we are the worst team to ever take the ice. Pavel Datsyuk - only 2 goals tonight? You suck. Let's trade him. As a matter of fact, let's just trade every single player on the team because they are the worst group of hockey players I have ever seen in my life. ------------------------------------------------------ Assuming you guys still have pulses, I hope you could have picked up on the extreme sarcasm on the above statement. This place is unbelievable. There are 29 games left in the season, we are what 5 points out of FOURTH place!? Yet, we aren't going to make the playoffs? Give me a break. There is no way this team doesn't make the playoffs. If we don't make the playoffs, I will never come on this site ever again. That is how confident I am. I will still stick by my prediction that we end up with either the 4 or 5 seed. This team is too good and too experienced not to make the playoffs. Give Ozzy a few more starts and then if after that he can not make a few key saves, I will too cast him off. End of Rant. On a positive note: Our forth line was pretty solid tonight. Once again, did you miss how hard it was to get into 8th place when we were only 1 point out? It's not as easy as people think. Even if the team does get into the playoffs again (which I think they will eventually) what have we seen to make us think they can stay in it? Again, other teams are stringing wins together, the Wings ahven't had more than a 3 game winning streak all season I don't think. It's not just about the Wings.
