As much as I enjoyed watching the Olympics, I'm soooo happy to finally have Red Wings hockey back! With Lilja returning and a healthy team, it's time to put a winning streak together and make a strong push for a playoff spot!

Oh, am I ready for this as ever! Lets win this one! Our powerhouse lineup has returned, so skill should not be the question. Losing Maltby, Leino, and May, and gaining Eaves, Miller, and Lilja make us even stronger than we were at the start of this year. We even have a hot goalie now. There is no reason we shoulder make the playoffs.

Last time they had a situation like that I think Miller, Willy and Helm split duty at center for the fourth line.

Thank the hockey gods, Red Wings hockey is back! All of the boys are rested, minus Rafa and should be ready to play. This is going to be one hell of a final stretch. For the first time in my life I will be watching the Wings fight for a playoff spot.

Everyone but Babcock and Rafalski should be decently rested and ready to go.

Feels weird to be back to NHL hockey. But in a way the Wings are in an elimination tournament right from the get go. We can't lose many games.

I will be down at the Ass Can (Pepsi Center) tonite with my 7 and 9 year old son's. Row 11. We will have signs saying "Welcome back Lilja!", and "Jimmy for the Calder!"

Maybe Little Gary's TV station will show them. Hopefully the Red Wings are motivated. It is now or never guy's!

Look for a high level of support as usual from the many Wings fans who show up in Denver.
