tubaguy 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 I was at tonight's game and some time after goal 2 or 3 (I can't remember which), someone threw an Octopus and it landed near Bryzgalov. He was quite angry about the goals and kicked it. I seem to think that it happened during a commercial break; however I was wondering if they showed it during the broadcast. If so, does anyone have a photo or video? It was pretty funny!

Xitium 272 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 Little does he know he sealed the fate of his entire team with that little move. Fiddler threw an octo down the hallway that was thrown after the anthems of game 1.
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 I didn't catch the game but saw the highlights. Even in those short clips, he looked a little rattled. Arguing on goals, letting in Zetterberg's second goal from a negative angle. All good signs.
Jibbajaba 14 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) He cursed the team. They may not win another game. He knows not what he does. That would be like Kronner kicking some schmuck in a white t-shirt over there in 1-800-jobbing.com.org Arena there in Phoenix or Glendale or wherever. He was quite angry about the goals and kicked it. I seem to think that it happened during a commercial break; however I was wondering if they showed it during the broadcast. If so, does anyone have a photo or video? It was pretty funny! It was right after goal #2. And just seconds later he let in goal #3! Everyone around me was saying that's what he gets for touching the octopus.
titanium2 867 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 So how does it "work"? I mean, what if someone were to throw an octopus at a Coyotes player? Would that "work"?
Xitium 272 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 So how does it "work"? I mean, what if someone were to throw an octopus at a Coyotes player? Would that "work"? Nope. They have to touch it on their own.
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 So how does it "work"? I mean, what if someone were to throw an octopus at a Coyotes player? Would that "work"? That goes against the "code", therefore it would not "work"

Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 Chicago learned last playoffs. DO NOT TOUCH THE OCTOPI! All that bravado from the Hawks players back then and it resulted in a 5 game exit against us.
AtomicPunk 296 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 I really do love it when the Hawks and Blue Jackets and other little upstarts pick on us and chant Detroit Sucks, especially when we barely notice them. They really should be worried more about the Predators at this point.

ComradeWasabi 109 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 Yes, but was there a distinct kicking motion? Did the kick "propel" the octopus? We might need video review on this one. 3 titanium2, 55fan and Frozen-Man reacted to this
