His hit on Thornton was key on Cleary's goal, but he does take many, many stupid penalties. In this series he's been better than Hudler IMO.

I think the worst thing they could do is put Hudler back in, he has been awful from what I have seen from him.

They can't risk playing Franzen again and dressing a man who's not even playing on the ice.

Why put Hudler back in? Who knows what Franzen's situation is, but no way in hell does Miller sit for Hudler.

Abby is a hitting machine and did a great job blocking shots on the PK... but good god those penalties. Late in games he should be glued to the bench.

I want to see Mursak. Get someone 100% healthy in there for the forecheck that's been struggling.

Franzen's a humble guy...he'll probably sit out understanding it's best for the team.

I'd put Modano in and keep Hudler out because of the pretty big difference in skating abilities. Better skating=more grinding down low=superior forecheck.


Anyways though, what a game! Really proud of the team tonight. Pure will and determination in that third period.

no you cant take abby out he is playing physical

hudler has to stay out. murask would be awesome to see with his speed. but modano would be the choice

franzen was out there for 1 goal against and 4 penalties against. penalties that probably came from the lack of play from mule

As much as I'd think about taking Abs out...you just can't. Take the bad with the good. But Mule HAS to be out. He didn't play the entire 3rd and look how that went.
