I cringe whenever he has the puck. He's the only one on the team who fits that bill.

I'm especially hard on him because he demonstrated in the first half of the season that he has the ability to be a reliable defensive defenseman. It's beyond me what changed, but if most of what we're going to get is play of the sort we saw in the latter half of the season and in the playoffs, and all of it in a contract year, then I think he deserves to be a #7 defenseman at best.

He should of stayed a forward because he does not seem to have what it takes to be a defenseman. Either he is not smart enough or is incapable of making the right decision in a pressure situation.

I can understand the others, but Modano was just dealt a s***ty hand, out for three months with a wrist injury is hard on a guy in his 40s and he lost most of the conditioning he had, not much he could do about it.
