Unfortunately, it is ESPN Yeah, just because Detroit is the 'best fit' for Doughty from a standpoint of sensibility and the future, it doesn't have anything to do with reality and certainly doesn't mean anything about the progress of his contract talk with the Kings. No offense either, but those bi-yearly reminders were also covering Commodore and Babs as well... It might have opened the door for anyone at this point. There's a difference: Commodore had no job, and he signed for peanuts. He'll be a third-pairing or #7 defenseman and can be waived if he does poorly. Prospal is a second-line forward.
