I knew it wasn't us.

But, with the Ericsson deal and all, you ******* scared me by not naming the signing team in the thread title.

Yeah, sorry. I realized that immediately after I hit post. Sorry :(

Edit: Thanks for fixing it mods!

It's a bit high, but I think a real good fit for Buffalo. With Roy, Vanek, Pominville, and Stafford there are plenty of scorers for Leino.

Also, I'm kind of happy to see players going to a good market like Buffalo after so many left due to financial reasons.

makes the big rig deal a bit more palatable.

Both are about 1 - 1.5 mil overpaid. Leino has actually done something though.

No problem. :)

I didn't mean to sound harsh to you. It was really my frustration with the Wings' situation. Anyways, I'm sorry too.

Guy gets 19 goals and 34 points once in his career and suddenly he's worth 4.5 million over 6 years?? What is a guy like Cleary worth in a market like this, its insane!

*19 goals and 53 points

You overpay for players who make stuff happen on the ice, not players who only benefit when other great players are already doing the work for them.

Terrible overpayment, especially for 6 years! I don't understand why so many teams hate signing hard-working players. That's how you win!
