8x worse, actually, based on the dollar amount of the fine.Apparently Tortorella's criticism of the Penguins is 4x worse than hockey players intending to injure their opponents
Based on his $7.5m salary, that's actually 1/3000th of his yearly salary. At my salary, that would be a fine of $12.33.A $2500 fine to him is like a $20 fine to the rest of us. That will really teach him a lesson. If they felt that this was not suspension worthy then why not just say that and move on. Issuing this trivial fine is just embarrassing.

That's right. Sad Simpsons Indian. I went there.

Well he can never be accused of having a red wings bias now.
Not when Gary's pulling the strings. This league is a farce.

8x pal ...
Who is the biggest goon that we have in the farm team?
My mistake, makes this seem even more outlandish.

Im sorry to say, but you're going to be disappointed. I would bet just about anything that the NHL doesnt discipline what so ever
Here' what I want to see happen. You know how in the past, the Wings have found really important things to focus on for winning the Cup? Twice, it was because of Vladdy. More than once, it was because there were veteran players who'd never had a chance to touch the Cup, much less hug it, kiss it and drink out of it.
Maybe they don't see Weber's actions as negatively as we do. But there is no reason under the sun why they can't use most of what happened in that game to fire up, focus and win. They already must KNOW they are better than the Preds. As far as I'm concerned they have enough reason now to pull together and roll right over their ignorant, arrogant hides.
"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.
Money on the Board - 100 bucks on the base. From here on, one buck per puck IN goal, win or lose!
Total right now: $108.

Tough to do to a d man. I'd like to see Bett drop the gloves with him off the opening draw like he did with O Brien a year agoFirst shift Weber out there he has to be Kronwalled, send the message early.

The current CBA doesn't allow for more than a $2500 fine against players. Not that I agree with it or anything. Should be a suspension if the fine isn't enough for the action. My mistake, makes this seem even more outlandish.

...however, I'm afraid that I would use "poo-poo bad hurtful" words that the powers-that-be on this board would think are BAD NAUGHTY, so I won't.
Come on everyone, let's sing "Koombaya" and not use such LANGUAGE as "B.S.", etc. Mr. Weber is simply misunderstood and now has had a serious talking to...all will now be friendly and better!

Pretty much what we saw when we faced the Ducks a few years back. The message has been sent and it is now going to be open season on the Wings. Preds know nothing will happen to them. I am concerned.
