Good first period, but nothing on the scoreboard to show for it. I hope that doesn't come back to bite us. Lashoff! About time the goal in a rookie's NHL debut happened FOR us instead of against us.

we have to use him as value, we can't send him down. we need the 4th line center right now until helmer comes back. unfortunately, he'll be a healthy scratch until we can package him or we're willing to lose him for nothing. he won't pass waivers. i really had hopes that he improved during the off-season but during the open practice on friday he had pissed me off, and quite frankly his play hasn't said anything so far. he has that punk attitude where he thinks he rates more than he has earned. just my opinion though.

ah yes the waiver situation, makes sense

still frustrating seeing them piss away a roster spot

Great pressure and awesome to see Lashoff score. He's looked solid, plays simple but with a certain confidence about him.

Now let's destroy these guys.

I'm happy for him, but this is hopefully the only time we'll be able to say that Brian Lashoff leads the Wings in goal scoring

last guy id expect. if we see him sent down its gonna be a shame. if he doesn't make mistakes he should stay at this point.

I'm thinking Kindl isn't too happy right about now, as Lashoff may be leapfogging him on the depth chart soon if he keeps this up.

I'd settle for winning in regulation. A 3 point game happening between st louis and nashville right now.

The effort on defense has been mostly there.

They have been skating hard all night. Like I said earlier, goals are going to be at a premium with this roster unlike some previous incarnations
