Seems like the defense will be fine, since it's Danny K time :)

Lashoff and Quincey over Kindl is a head-scratcher. Tootoo in the lineup

Lashoff doesn't make many mistakes, he's very steady and does his job for the most part. Kindl and Quincey have both been liabilities this season. Wish we could scratch both but Kindl's probably been the worse of the two lately so I'm fine with it.

Great to have Danny back, should make a difference. Now we just need some forwards too. Winning this game would be great for 24/7.

Helene St. James @HeleneStJames

Told by Jakub Kindl he's healthy scratch tonight when #redwings play at Toronto. Danny DeKeyser returning.

Honestly, I'm not surprised. Haven't been impressed with Kindl at all this season. Almost seems as though he's regressed somewhat from last year.

Monday we see Helm and Abby in. Franzen and Gus should be soon as well hopefully. Then Z back around 28th.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?

We should at least be better defensively.  So I think we have a shot of winning. Our offense still sucks but we should be able to prevent a few goals.

Hard to find a team in all of sports with a fan base as crappy as the Leafs. They can't discuss hockey - and would rather tell you that a 2-game winning streak means they are Cup bound. A lousy organization who will never win without the NHL's help [hello Pittsburgh & Crosby????]. In the city I hear they have been hyping this game up for a few weeks. Whenever God's team comes to town, that is THEIR Stanley Cup final. Cute.

Great to have Danny D back though, which will improve our breakouts with that first pass. Sucks to still have 8 guys out, but our Griffins could beat these guys, so let's get to it.

GO WINGS!!!

Lashoff is a solid shutdoqn guy and as stated doesn't make many mistakes but Kindl should be in over Q

Dan Cleary is an Xbox 360.  While good for a while, it's time for the new generation to take over.

I'm not so sure.  Kindl is far and above the softest defenceman we have, not to mention he's probably the weakest at actual defence.

If Deke can effectively replace him on the PP, then I don't really see much of a need for him.

"The leader must never close the gap between himself and the group. If he does, he is no longer what he must be. He must walk a tightrope between the consent he must win and the control he must exert."

When asked who won, Babcock said, “Well it doesn’t really matter as long as you don’t lose. It’s like going bear hunting, you take a slow guy with you in case the bear is hungry.”
