Happy new year guys and gals :-)

Can't believe the monster didn't get the start unreal, he played well and made some outstanding saves.

This will be the biggest and best WC game ever, two original 6 teams going at it with light snowfall, so bummed. My DVR is more than ready. That being said, I think we are going to see a shootout.

Monster has a groin issue.  If anything, Petr better be ready to go.

Wish I was going to this one    I would have been there if they had it last year, but now I have responsibilities, other things to spend money on, blah blah blah.

Hope everyone who's at the game has a blast, looks like the weather will be perfect for an outdoor game.

Orr is playing? I thought teams sat out their enforcer against us. Maybe he's in to avenge the water bottle.

My Wings playing the Leafs, my Stanford playing Michigan State, my girlfriend is talking to me again (lol) - I like today! :yahoo:

Obviously he and Glendening are being showcased. I SMELL A TRADE. (jk)

Also, I really hope Alfie is playing. He was clutch in  the WC preview.

You know who really deserves some props today? Mike Ilitch.

If she is quiet during the game or screams during the game about calls and the fact Dano is playing plus gets you beers.

Time to purpose !!!

NBC Sports is streaming it here.

iPhone ap is here.

Android ap is here.

And for Canadians, I believe we can enjoy the game muted on CBC.  Definitely mute it!

I like this team.

Man I hope Howard bounces back from last game. Otherwise this could be ugly.

Z and D together should be able to cause some problems for the Leafs though. Abby and Helm together is as it should be. Nyquist gets the short end of the stick.

Go Wings!

I just told mine, I'm going to pay for her new clothes if she doesn't disturb me during the game. Well worth the "investment" *gg*

Truly enjoyed watching the Alumni game (boy Stevie looked rusty but we still love him!!) and even more because it was against that joke or an organization. Even more entertaining was the announcers discussing the lineups and how Detroit had to turn so many away, Detroit could've iced 3 teams - while the sad sack Laughs could barely ice 1 team, full of career perennial losers. Nothing like showing the hockey world - who hear only the negative things about Michigan - that besides Montreal, the Red Wings are hockey royalty. Nobody comes close to our franchise or the Habs.

I hope and expect nothing less than 100% effort today from our boys and a BIG W - against the pathetic, wannabees from Ontario, and here's hoping their ignorant, s***ty fans ride those Greyhounds back home crying.

GO WINGS!!

Are any LGWers going to be at the game?  My brother and dad are, and I had a ticket but had to move for a job in November, so I"m envious of everyone going.

I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
