Is anyone else thinking that the Sharks look like the 97 Red Wings?

The Sharks play well in their own building. Let's see how they do at the Staples Center. Seven unanswered is pretty mind-blowing, though.

13 goals in two games against the Kings is certainly a statement but the Sharks haven't won yet they need to take one in LA if they do that, they advance.

Kings finally figured out how to come back. Glad to see a team that can figure that out.

this series is unreal 37 !!! goals scored. Like I said never count the Kings out they have an allworld defense and an elite goalie if Quick is on his game he won't be beaten easily.

It still seems like the Sharks will close out the series eventually, but I so would love to see an epic meltdown.

Commencing!

Wonder if Coach Todd Mac gets the boot if the Sharks go down in round 1 again.

I'd so love for the Kings to complete the upset, especially after McLelland put his top PP unit on the ice for a 5 on 3 in a 6-2 game with 10 minutes left in the third period.

This series has been equally great and terrible for both fanbases. That's actually pretty rare.

Good stuff. Game 7 is gonna be a blast.

Hope the Sharks put this one away. Can't stand the Kings, Quick especially after what he did last night. Jump a guy when he's facing you, you coward.

I've been phrasing things really poorly lately. Must be the Wings withdrawl.

What I meant was, it's been great-and-terrible (or terrible-and-great) for Kings fan, and equally great-and-terrible for Sharks fans. Though, there's probably more pressure on the Sharks here. Imagine if the Kings pull this off. Man oh man.

Classy player Joe Thornton with the knee on Brown (who probably has a hit or two like this coming).

As blatant as Cooke's, but Brown was okay and it's Thornton so nothing will happen.

Quick has allowed 4 goals in 3 games that's 0,75 GAA unbelievable how good he is when he is on. This series is just all sorts of crazy and I love it although the 2:1 should have never counted.

If they fire McLellan bring him back as the PP coach, the guy knows how to run it.

Outscored 13-4 in the last three games. Insane.

At least when Detroit came back against San Jose, those were close games in a close series. LA is just dominating right now.

Pre game talk from Drew Doughty, or as I call it "Things I wish Franzen would say:"

"You treat this Game 7 as if it is the Olympic gold-medal game or the Stanley Cup finals," Doughty said. "For me personally, I need to have an unbelievable game for our team to win tonight. I need my A game. I need to do everything right. I need to play well defensively, I need to chip in on the offense, I need to dominate on special teams, so that’s just how I look at it."

Do you think the Sharks dismantle their team if they lose this?

They have a history of never winning, or even reaching the big game. If they blow this 3-0 series lead, you have to think some major changes are coming.

The Bruins retooled some of their roster after they blew a 3-0 series lead. I would imagine that the Sharks will do something similar. They have some good young talent that is coming up though so it may not be that big of a change.
