GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) It's a shame hockey games end after only 15 minutes into one period. I had forgotten that in 97, 98, 02 and 08 that we never lost a game in any of those seasons. Except back then we didn't have three checking lines and 5 defensive defensemen in the lineup each night. Hell, we don't even have a decent right handed shot in the lineup. Edited January 19, 2015 by GMRwings1983

derblaueClaus 1,668 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 What a clusterf***. They better get their s*** together and start playing like a NHL-team.
sleepwalker 512 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Wings certainly look like s*** tonight. Unfortunately, I guess we should all be used to that by now in games like this. Seems like whenever the Wings play one of these bottom dweller teams that should be an easy win, they choke.
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 I just turned the game on. Can anybody tell me what the f*** happened? bottom feeder + red wings who have been playing well lately = 3-0 after the first
GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 I can't recall a period that horrendous in a long time. Everything they did well last night was non-existent in those 20 minutes. The positive is that it's Buffalo and if the Wings decide they want to play hockey tonight, they can still salvage something from this game. But they better start real quick. GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 I just turned the game on. Can anybody tell me what the f*** happened? The French Connection line has traveled back in time to play against the 2015 Wings. 2 derblaueClaus and kipwinger reacted to this
derblaueClaus 1,668 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 I just turned the game on. Can anybody tell me what the f*** happened? Not skating. Not competing. Turnovers. And some lucky deflections by the Sabres. Or in other words : Our usual back to back game against bottom-feeders.
Wheelchairsuperhero 1,453 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Anybody surprised? I'm definitely not. Wings always compete way less against these teams. They just float around and don't move their feet. Combine that with one lucky bounce and 2 perfect shots and you're going to be embarrassed.

Wheelchairsuperhero 1,453 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Poor leadership. Euros tend to relax more than North Americans. Just look at how many hours they work on average over there. Need some good North American boys to lead once in a while.........no I haven't been drinking.................Datsyuk and Zetterberg need to not be so passive with this group. Lol are you serious? Guest Playmaker Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Right, Datsyuk and Zetterberg aren't leaders. Not like we've ever won Cups with them or any other "Euros" like that ***** Lidstrom and that wimp Fedorov who never showed up in the playoffs. Damn, if we just had McGrattan to lead us. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Games like this -- with epically struggling teams like the Sabres -- seems to bring out the 'least' in the Wings. To whom much is given, more than this is expected. On a sick humor level, the Wings are letting Buffalo get well on them, in their own barn, to a degree that is a bit ludicrous. Please show up in the remaining 40 minutes, Wings. Thank you. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this

RedWingsRox 614 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) Just woke up from my Sun afternoon nap ... I knew it was a bad idea to start Mrazek again on a back to back. Secondly, I just have to laugh at all the Mrazek for Vezina, 'let's trade Howie for some pieces' fan boys in the other thread.
