themcityblues 249 Report post Posted April 26, 2015 Haha, good luck Flames. The Ducks are for real this year.
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted April 26, 2015 Would be something if the Flames can pull this off but for sure Anaheim is a different beast, especially this year.
Superman54 91 Report post Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) I hope flames push it, the cities fun when its alive. The ducks look like a big threat now after sweeping the Jets. Except the goaltending hasn't been that impressive, I don't think its out of the realm of possibility Hudler's line could keep producing. Those young guns Monahan and Gaudreau are the real deal, this series will be damn close. Flamers didn't play very well against em in past regular season meetings, always seem to struggle against the quacks... Buuuuut its playoffs, and as proven so many times, its a whole new ball parkFlames in 6LGRW Edited April 26, 2015 by Superman54

chaps80 1,591 Report post Posted April 26, 2015 Ducks in whatever amount it takes. It's nice not to have to worry about these Western teams in the playoffs anymore..at least till the Finals.

Jaymister 71 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 I hope Calgary wins this one, I still can't stand Getz and Perry. My bracket however has the Ducks in the Final, i'm taking them in 6 games.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 Interested to see how Hiller does against his old team.
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 (edited) Same here very interested. I think he'll want to show I his old coach and GM that letting him go has been a huge mistake Edited April 27, 2015 by frankgrimes
xtrememachine1 795 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 Unless goaltending turns into an issue for Anaheim, I can't see them losing this series. The Ducks have way too much talent to be beaten. They would have to beat themselves. Ducks in 5.
Duck Guy 86 Report post Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) Me thinks this is going to be a long series... 2 comeback teams?!?! And the whole Hiller vs the ducks thing goes both ways so I wouldn't buy too much stock into that. Edited April 28, 2015 by Duck Guy

Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted May 2, 2015 Kari Ramo will be starting for the Flames in Game 2.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 2, 2015 Doesn't surprise me. I wouldn't make Hiller go out there again. I'd see how Ramo does and then decide who plays game 3 back home.
