There are really only two options, someone didn't want a local star prosecuted regardless of what came back and sent the woman a message with her kit OR they saw BAD things for Kane in the kit and destroyed it so he'd never be prosecutable (in their eyes). Either way they were beyond vindictive, one might say menacing in their actions. I'd have the FBI in their suits and down their shorts in Chicago tonight. This simply cannot happen. ever. anywhere. Thinking outloud though. If they do bring this case forward on testimony and it becomes a She said Kane said issue if I were Kane's legal team I'd be a tad worried. He also defended a film maker who was the first person to be tried in Buffalo for internet child pornography. Guy's a real ethical type. This woman wants no part of any settlement. There's plenty of scenarios. It could have even been taken and tampered with by someone who supports the victim. The reports of findings did help Kane's case - this would cast doubt on those findings that might have resulted in him not being charged. And, it turns more suspicion on Kane. Then again we don't know if those reports are true or if they were on evidence before or after the tampering. I don't think a jury could convict on the testimony of the accuser. There would have to be some other evidence. If Kane's side is proven to be involved with this tampering and we find out it was damning evndence that was tampered with, it could be that other something.
