Maybe Poile accidentally drinks a mimosa instead of his daily Metamucil and gets feeling all risky and s***? Or maybe Holland, you know, will just do some things a good GM would do because he's a good GM. Edited February 22, 2019 by The 91 of Ryans

krsmith17 7,191 Report post Posted February 22, 2019 This trade should have waited about 6 hours... Columbus are in Ottawa tonight. They should have waiting until midway through warmups and just told Duchene to switch jerseys... 1 1 AtlantaHotWings and amato reacted to this

krsmith17 7,191 Report post Posted February 22, 2019 This Duchene trade looks like it could be great news for Detroit. It looks like two of the big forward names (Duchene and Panarin) are off the board, raising Nyquist's trade value. And Bobrovski may be staying put now as well, leaving Howard as the only real viable trade option in goal. Just now, Dabura said: sigh Why sigh? That's great news. Another forward off the board. I hope Hayes gets moved next. 1 nyqvististhefuture reacted to this

It’s really Calgary or bust no one will take howard , best hope would be them actually trading bob and asking us for Howard but I That’s first for jimmy is a dream Edited February 22, 2019 by nyqvististhefuture

And Duchene fetched a good ransom, which means our remaining tradeables could grant us favorable returns. Then again - Ken Holland.

Everyone be throwing themselves at them other boys and our boy be sitting in a corner all neglected like. Hopefully Nyquist isn't the last high-profile scoring forward left on the market. nyqvististhefuture 1,002 Report post Posted February 22, 2019 I know we won’t but we should think of putting mike green up for trade he’d easily be the top d available and fetch us a really good return and next year if they all make it to trade deadline he might be competing with Barrie,Pietrangelo,Krug for top d prize

Doubtful at this point, but if any of the contenders lose their number one goalie, he could still go there as well.

Ya it’s take a miracle at this point for some injury though it’s flames or cbj if bob gets moved and both likely won’t fetch a first ... I’d just take a 2nd + at this point , Howard likely returns to us regardless , we need as many picks as possible

For example, is it possible to trade for a 2025 1st rounder this year? The rapid decline of Kings and Blackhawks is making me think that might be the smart play. Pick 27 in 2019 <<<< pick 3 in 2025.
