I've been aware of their existence for a while, but never bothered with it. Decided to put their latest episode about Vrana on today and my god, the hosts all seem like their on 5 bars of xanax. No energy. No personality. It's almost like they don't want to be there. It's like an NPR style sleep aid ASMR. Someone make an alternative. It shouldn't be hard to overtake these losers. These guys are complete BSers The good news is the surgery was just preventative for the future. So he hasnt actually suffered an injury yet and this should keep him healthier in the long run. Their takes are hilariously bad, and they are routinely proven wrong, but that doesn't stop them from doing it all over again the very next episode. Their boy Prashanth Iyer does the same s***. Some highlights: -Filip Zadina is a "dominant" top six forward with an elite shot. -Filip Zadina is better than Robbi Fabbri -Michael Rasmussen isn't even an NHL caliber player. -Seider was a a bad pick -Edvinsson was a bad pick -Kasper was a bad pick -Hronek is average at best and a liability at worst -(and my favorite) Brenden Smith really is "that damn good". Anybody with even a shred of intellectual honesty would spend a little time trying to figure out why they're so consistently wrong. It's always refreshing when you see re-drafts or (better yet) articles devoted to figuring out analytical blind spots. Not these guys. They're on to the next bad take. I wish I was in a business where I could take my professional legitimacy on a really bad take, fail miserably in my predictions, and then never have to answer for why I'm so wrong so much of the time. Hronek was unreliable offensively and defensively. He had streaks where he put up offence ie first part of the 22-23 season but you couldn’t pencil it in or expect any major production from him on most nights after that. And that was a problem. The unicorn-ness of the top 4 RHD position always = overeating a player. Just look at Mayfield and Sverenson.
