Gunner Stahl easily makes the roster.. c'mon
I did some research. Gunnar quit hockey a year after losing to the Ducks, citing that coach Wolf Stansson's overbearing nature made hockey no fun anymore. He now runs Iceland's largest hakarl (aged and fermented greenland shark meat) production companies.

I remember Hudler always leading off in shootouts, missing, but giving Pavs an opportunity to see what the goalie was doing before he shot. As others have already said, Tats is a better, more tenacious version of Huds. Call him Hungry Huds compared to Happy Huds maybe?
Go Wings. 65 minutes of hard hockey! If you only need 60, that's even better. You can be hard for the other five minutes doing whatever you want as a reward for only needing 60 during the game. Intermissions do not count in this time, nor does the warm-up or any time when the puck is not in play, unless it's in the netting and no one knows where it is.
Wings win 3-1
Tatas, GusGus, and Tinky all score just because it sounds so darn cute.
Gustafsson scores for the Flyers just because it would freak Wings fans out because people would think that it's Gustavsson.
Just saw these live for the first time last night playing Philly. Wow. I'm convinced these guys continuously hire people that failed out of graphic design school to come up with all these jersey schemes they have.
It goes along with most of the decisions the Sabres seem to make.
The logo for their third jersey should be a team tanking for a draft pick.
There is no reason for Abdelkader on the 2nd line when Tatar is out scoring him with less games. But, I did always imagine Babcock as a child spending hours trying to jam a square peg into a round hole.

This is getting ugly. Don't expect the bleeding to stop anytime soon unless we get amazing goaltending and D-zone play, even then we'll be.... uh, challenged, to score goals with the line-up were icing. The injuries we've had every season since winning the Cup have been ridiculous.
I still say its because of lack of grit. Hard to stay healthy when all your players are made of pudding. Is bill cosby the trainer or what?
