"@leahhextall: With Kessel gone now just one player on Toronto's roster makes more than Babcock!"

#2616766 Wings re-sign RFA Joakim Andersson

I'll pretend to support you, but then complain to everyone who will listen because you play too soft.

#2615827 Will Wings Revisit Signing Phaneuf?

Just write down the information to your savings account for me and I'll tell the nurse to turn you over in the afternoons so you can watch the birds like you like

I need an adult!

Who are you again, and why are you in my bedroom?

#2615189 Wings open to trading Mantha and/or their 1st Round Pick

How does a player acquire stupid speed? Does a team pay more for this? Can young players go to stupid speed schools in the summer?

#2614551 Wings open to trading Mantha and/or their 1st Round Pick

Posted by darkmanx on 15 June 2015 - 06:55 PM

Where did I say holland added a player cause he's friends with a gm? Geez ... I was here sayin we should get cole cause he'd be a good fit and shouldn't cost as much since he was a older ufa and not an elite guy

I don't think I was overvalued jarnkrok at the time ... He was considered our number 1 prospect for along time and and I think he was even at the time of the trade? Not sure

Made top nhl prospect lists , praised by andersen and other scouts ... And we give him up along with a 2nd for david legwand of all people?

When the trade happened wings organization basically said he was a bust so we wouldn't be pissed off ...anyways it's far too soon to say he's gonna be a bust , I think at the least he's gonna be a 3rd line guy ... We'll see

I'm over it cause I see a lot of potential coming up .... And I'd much rather give up Gus or Tatar than a mantha in a deal

Wings don't make the playoffs without that trade. Legwand and Mule went on a tear together and won us a bunch of games.

To you that may not be important, unfortunately you don't run the team and it matters to them.

Nothing says "successful location" like having to win Cups constantly in order to hold more than a few thousand fans' interest.  A good location should be pulling in at least a decent amount even when the team struggles.  Yes, attendance and sales go down when teams suck, but the "real" franchises still get someone to show up.

While I agree its probably time to give up on Phoenix, or Arizona, or whatever, I do think its worth mentioning that it wasn't all that long ago that Mike Illitch had to give away cars to get people into seats at Joe Louis arena.

#2613734 Jeff Blashill named 27th head coach in Red Wings history

Posted by kickazz on 09 June 2015 - 06:34 PM

Kinda weird going from a coach with a full head of hair to a bald one. Trying to get used to this will be a bigger challenge for me than anything else next season.

#2613485 The return of The Mule?

Posted by kickazz on 07 June 2015 - 11:28 PM

So for all you guys who are so concerned for Franzen's health...If doctors declare him healthy enough to return and claim he's at no more risk of serious injury than many players in the league...You'll fully support him as a player?

Or are you all just hiding behind a shroud of caring?

The first thing I'll do is question where the doctors went to medical school and did their residency. :)

Cleary and Blash are around the same age. Makes sense.

#2613243 Which Sweater Do RWs Retire First - Feds or Ozzy?

Posted by Internet.Unknown on 05 June 2015 - 10:14 AM

Not necessarily ... I know here in montreal they retired a lot of players when they were old and in some cases sadly died (there idiots here)

I gotta thinkmaybe mike illitch' is sadly still pissed he left as some wings fans appear to be ... #3 all time with 163 pts in the playoffs , 3 cups in 13 seasons 954 regular season pts in detroit , hart trophy winner and Selke , one of best all time russian players in the nhl ... If that doesn't get you in anymore I don't know what does

If it's simply playing a full career with one team might as well retire holmstroms jersey since he won 4 cups

Anyways maybe one day when federov will be on his deathbed as an 87 yr old man

Fedorov will live to 91, duh.

Neither.  And neither was spelled correctly.

Retire Red Kelly's number first.

I wasn't sure if I was the only one that caught that and I didn't want to be a peckerhead about it, so thank you.
