With Jimmy Howard being the starter in the playoffs, that got me thinking about how many different netminders we've started in the playoffs since the mid 90's. Osgood, Vernon, Hasek, Cujo, Legace and now Howard. You can even count Ozzie and Hasek twice, because they've had several different stints with the team. I don't think there's ever been a dynasty in the NHL that had so many different starting goalies during their run. I think it's a testament to our defense and the system that we can keep rotating goalies like this every couple of years in the playoffs. Let's just hope that with Howard we've found someone who can stay here for about 10 years or so.

A very BIG thank you to everyone who participated throughout the season, especially to those who came back every week, even you Blood On The Ice Unlucky mate, I think you got a 9 or so that got bumped up, at least you didn’t drop out of the top 3. Well done to those who finished inside the top 10; fitting that you edged in there Dan Bylsma after all your hard work this season to get up the scores and keep track of everything. Certainly one of the most consistent to pick, you'll be one to beat next season. FRW once again tops edicius, no surprise there! FRW really came home strongly with scores of 13, 14, 17 and 16 as did wingsgirl001 who stormed into the top 10 on the back of scores of 14, 14, 14, 13 and 18. Thanks to NFM25 for once again being responsible for pinning this thread each week, it’s greatly appreciated! Once again well done to kook_10 and I'll see everyone again next season!

This thread is not about which goalie should start. You should have read a little better before you posted.

The Avs have been pretty bad for the last weeks/months. I guess if Anderson finds his mojo again they could pull an upset but in my eyes they're easily the worst playoff team in the West. Too young, overachieved for most of the season and almost ended up missing the playoffs.

Is it just me, or is this the most dramatic final day to a season in recent memory? Holy crap.
