Wow, I couldn't have said it better myself. Don't understand why Wings fans would hate Avery. He plays in the East and hasn't really done anything in Detroit to be hated so much. I'd love to have a guy like Avery on the team. He's also a much better player than anyone would care to admit. -

I think we are seeing a lot of what we have seen this season... the other team's goalie making great saves to keep his team in the game while ours is not. Every time Howard lets in a goal ppl say "oh but he had no chance" well it is the job of a goalie to make saves to keep his team in it... Leighton is doing that very well right now... impo when ozzie comes back Babs should get him going and if ozzie can get into ggear he is our best bet to win -

Howie has allowed 124 goals this season. If you believe some here, he was at fault for 5? Maybe 6? Personally, its laughable whenever I see "Howie can't be blamed for any of the goals against tonight." Tell me.. Why does Howie play so well in shootouts but absolutely sucks against breakaways? It's a mental issue, and he still isn't ready for the bigs. I pray Holland recognizes it and doesn't re-up Howards contract this year. -
