So pretty much when a team loses it means they are lazy and unmotivated? GOOD THEORY! I love how when the Wings swept the Yotes everyone was all about how amazing and hungry they are and that they look unstoppable out there and now with this series it's the complete opposite. YES they haven't been Red Wings like in these two games so far but that doesn't mean they don't want to win. Losses happen. It's apart of the game. It shouldn't and doesn't take anything away from the team. San Jose played much better and deserved a win and that's that. I'm sure the boys will come out with a couple of great games on Wed/Fri. ANYWAYS. I believe in the team of course. 2-0 leads are still very doable to come back from. LETS GO WINGS!!!!

I believe they're a better team than has been displayed and have hope that they show up on Wednesday. It isn't a series until someone loses at home.

Uh, no. It's Babcock right now. Right now. McLellan's resume isn't even in the same tier yet. Babs has championships within different leagues of hockey, multiple 50 win and 100 point NHL seasons, NHL finals appearances, a gold medal, etc. McLellan still hasn't coached a team that has won a game in the third round. In fact, McLellan could win a cup this year and he still wouldn't be a better coach. Babs is better right now. It's as simple as that.

Abdelkader has taken some stupid penalties, but I'm more concerned with our "second line" center or the guy that has supposed to fill that role for five years now and still hasn't. Filppula is useless offensively and the reason Datsyuk and Zetterberg almost have to be split up again. No worries though. Fil will hit his potential next season according to his fan club and the Cubs will win the World Series.

So over the years I haven't had many negative things to say about Valterri. But when it really comes down to it, what does he REALLY bring to this lineup other than solid defensive play? For his contract he really needs to either provide WAY more offense or be winning faceoffs, like all of them. In addition, off topic oddly enough, Babcock said he would ice the team that provided the best chance of winning. Not to second guess the guy but, you have Hudler providing almost nothing (he IS there for offense) and Fil playing, ON THE POWER PLAY, not getting any points how is this the best lineup to win games? I've been around for a while and seem to recall that Drapes has a great FO% and Modano is known to have some skill putting the puck in the net. I really hope that MB makes a change or 2 to the lineup when the series shifts back home or we may be looking at the same outcome as last season.

Especially? Especially? I understand that he had a disappointing regular season, but to say he's especially disappointing you in the playoffs? He had 5 points in 4 games in the first round. 5 players in 16 teams had better point totals in the first round. Either you don't have a very good handle on the English language, or I better change my perspective thinking I have high expectations for him.

Abdelkader is young, has been clutch (09 finals anyone?), and is willing to scrap. The more time he gets in the NHL, the better he can be for the team. Perhaps we should get a veteran grit depth player to give him some perspective? No I don't believe having May on the team half the season was enough to work him. I would rather have a contributor to more than just fighting.

yep just this year already in the first round Boston came back from down 2-0 to win(and those first two games were home games for Boston),Tampa Bay came back from down 3-1 to win,and Chicago was 1 goal away from winning their series after being down 3-0
