This crap is exactly like politics these days. MY team is absolutely correct, and my opponents are all scumbags who are threatening to ruin the game/country/world. It's like everyone has lost the ability to be objective. NEITHER side has been negotiating in good faith, no matter how you spin it. BOTH sides are greedy and are working to get as much as they can. That doesn't change no matter who the commissioner is. They are fighting a PR war that, in the end, doesn't matter. If the players caved today, and signed the last offer from the league, would you all be upset and not watch the games because the owners lost the PR war, but got what they wanted? If the league caved, would you be upset? It doesn't matter as long as they come back.

Here is a topic that must have been discussed at some point, but I am eager to hear peoples current thoughts on the matter. Simply put - I think Babcock shuffles our lines way too much and thereby does not allow chemistry to properly build. I understand his line shuffling philosophy in theory, and can see where you may use it occasionally as a kick in the pants to slumping players, but I do not understand doing it almost every... single... game. Thoughts?

I live in Columbus (die hard wings fan), but with the NHL unavailable right now we are playing some of our Rec league games on the main ice at Nationwide Arena. Going to be a blast. We might even get more fans in that place than the CBJ.

This really is the right way to go. I typically go to 10 games a season, purchase the NHL Center Ice Package, and purchase merchandise. I have already promised that if the NHL doesn't have a full season, which it looks like it won't, then I won't be doing any of those things. Will I watch the Wings on TV? Yes. My cable bill will be the only money I spend to watch the Wings. I just won't spend any money on tickets to nhl games, the center ice package, or merchandise for the next 5-6 years. It will save me at least $1500 a year, to which I will spend that money on something else. Speak with your wallets!
