Wow. Even from Toronto that dastardly Babcock is somehow forcing Holland to sign Cleary again. I knew Babcock was good, but I didn't know he was that good.

I will be one of them. Dear god, this guy has got to start living in reality. It's not 2009 anymore... It's been what, 4 years since he's been any sort of useful? He's already been given 2 charity contracts (which is just something that should never ever happen if you're serious about putting together a competitive team). I'm sure at one point he was a good 'locker room guy', but I can't see any way in which his behavior over the past few seasons could have been good for morale, especially for the younger guys. I'm sure watching a guy, with no production whatsoever, collect a paycheck just for showing up and going through the motions at practices is a great example to set I don't even want him on the Griffins. In fact, I don't even want him with the organization in any capacity anymore. GO AWAY DAN!!! GO AWAY!

Short term gives him incentive to play well. He could very well have a career year or two with the Wings. Also: LOL suck it Babcock!!!!!!!!!!! You leave, and finally a RHed D wants to come play for the Wings.

I think I'd rather trade E and Kindl, give Smith another year or two to figure it out.

Nice job, Mikey! I fear that the Wings will be rusty tonight. It seems they always start slowly. Hopefully they'll be able to shake it off and win. Go Wings!!!
