    I think a lot depends on this year's performance, but I'd expect Helm and Sheahan be left unprotected. I'd worry about Z, since Vegas might want some veteran leadership and may need some help to meet the cap floor. Though if he takes another step back, it may be worth the risk. And it's $950K in cap space, which would leave $3.05 in dead space. Either way though, it'd be enough to keep one of the kids, which I think is what Kliq was getting at.

    Zetterberg should be protected, Kronwall....depends on how this year goes. If E gets protected I would be pretty upset.

    He was fine last year in the beginning too, he hit a wall around January though. It's about that longevity. The less he plays the longer he will last with those legs you saw yesterday.

    KHL should've just shipped him off to North America as punishment. The NHL isn't the rough and tumble league it once was, but I can easily name you 50 NHLers off the top of my head who would kick the s*** out of this guy.
