There's a certain segment of the hockey world that's always going to prefer a 5'10 winger with flashy skill to just about any other option. It rarely works, and most guys like that sink rather than swim, but that doesn't stop them from finding a new dude like that year after year. Conversely, 6'2, 200 lb. centermen with size and skating rarely miss. The fact that Danielson seems to be a really heady player that thinks the game really well only helps his case. I'd send him back to the WHL, let him dominate, call him up to the AHL/NHL after his season is over to get a cup of coffee, and then let him compete for an NHL job next season like Raymond did.
