mannysBETTER3434 1 Report post Posted January 21, 2007 Rex has to be the worst starter in the NFL. Chicago would be better off with Kitna in there. Why not Griese? He lead TB to the playoffs last year until getting injured. By the way Drew Brees is the man!

Sting 11 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2007 And then Rex comes out and has a perfect drive... ...it looks like New Orleans just turned it over again; if so, this one's just about wrapped up.
mannysBETTER3434 1 Report post Posted January 21, 2007 Game over...Bears just score again. Rex can't hit the ocean if he threw a football from the pier yet they are crushing the Saints. GO AFC winner!!!

mannysBETTER3434 1 Report post Posted January 21, 2007 I love the Pats, but I love Dungy, Manning, Harrison, and June...all deserve Superbowl rings. I think 51% of me is rooting for the Colts, and 49% Pats. Whoever wins though I want them to take down the Bears Hey Sting..How is Marlin Jackson doing for Indy? He's a saftey now correct? Sting 11 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2007 Hey Sting..How is Marlin Jackson doing for Indy? He's a saftey now correct? He plays mainly in nickel and dime packages. He's still listed as a corner. I figured he'd be starting at corner over Jason David this year, but David's had a pretty good season. I think he'll eventually get his chance to start at corner, though. Starting safety slots will be locked up by Bob Sanders and Mike Doss (when healthy) for years to come. Time for Peyton to slay the dragon. All the pundits who picked the Colts also seemed to pick the Saints...ugh. This is more nerve wracking than the Wings' Cup runs for me.

Sting 11 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2007 Nice run by the Saints this year, but the Bears defense today was something. That, and I think the weather/field conditions were a much bigger factor than the TV guys wanted to admit. It stopped that "track meet" Saints offense cold. Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted January 22, 2007 Man, I seen this before. INT return for a TD, now it's a typical Colts game.
mannysBETTER3434 1 Report post Posted January 22, 2007 I know whats with Manning in the playoffs? There is still over a half of football to be played so there is a lot of things that could happen in favor on Indy

betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted January 22, 2007 Colts-Bears. How bout those Midwestern teams. Good for the Colts! Now I'd like to see them take the final step and have Manning shed that can't-win label once and for all. He and the Colts deserve it. Even though the Jerome Bettis storyline was cool last year, this would have been a perfect Super Bowl for Detroit. Sting must be just about ready to bounce through the roof right now. haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted January 22, 2007 With the Saints gone, I'm on the Colts bandwagon. No one with a QB as inconsistent as Grossman deserves to win the Superbowl.

wingslogo19 281 Report post Posted January 22, 2007 Got to remember to give credit to New Orleans for a great season. It is really remarkable how far they went when no one gave them a chance I agree with you 100%.. Last year they played there home games in 3 different cities and to turn it around this year and to have such a great season is great.. Reggie Bush is going to be a force to be wrecking with, the Texans really messed up with there #1 pick in the draft
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted January 23, 2007 Kudos to the Bears for winning the NFC, they certainly deserved it and the Saints just didn't have too many good plays in the game. A big to a lot of the Chicago Bear fans. I listened to talk radio down here today and it was largely recap of the game and people's experiences going up to the Windy City on the long road trip. Out of probably 20 - 25 reports, only 1 was good about the Bear fans. I'm interested to hear what my cousin and her husband said. Taunting players and each other is one thing, but ripping on my city saying it should have completely drowned in Katrina and it's completely ghetto post-storm absolutely piss me off. And it takes a lot to really piss me off. And this, unfortunately, was consistent from almost all the callers. And alcohol is no excuse, you can't be that wasted to say such horrible things. I could go on and on but I'll wrap up the rant now. I love my city, I love this region, despite it's many problems right now post-Katrina. I am proud to be a part of it, I am proud of the Saints, and I am proud of the resolve of the people here, many who are still going through so much trying to resume some kind of normal life. Shame on some of the Bear fans giving the great city of Chicago a bad name. Absolutely classless and low.
