WHy are people so mad about what Reggie Bush did? I can name you serveral celebrations that are worse: T.O. has about 5 of them, then Johnson has another 5 plus Joe Horn's cell phone, plus many others. Reggie Bush has never been a jerk since becoming a star, and just because he calls out Urlacher hes now a jerk? There is a lot worse stuff going on in the NFL then pointing fingers.

I was kind of like Mannysbetter on Sunday, but I would say 50% Pats, 50% Colts. Brady and Manning are my two favorite QBs. Two pretty classy guys if you ask me, in an era when there aren't too many in pro athletics. Although I would love to see Brady get 4 rings to tie Montana (next year!), I really want Manning to just go ahead and win the damn Superbowl. I have enjoyed watching the Colts the last several years and their time is due. Dungy's a good character too. Go Colts, beat the Bears! Keep the rings coming to the AFC.

Da Bears

The old addage is going to hold true, offense wins games, but DEFENSE wins championships.

It could get ugly for Manning

Colts defense > Bears defense in the playoffs.

The Bears haven't played a team the caliber of the Colts yet.

And after just beating the renowned defenses of the Ravens and the Patriots, I think Manning knows what he's doing. Just sayin'.

Manning will find a way to lose this game. He was WAY overdue to beat the Pats. The Pats are working with two journeyman as their top WRs and were down Rodney Harrison at safety. That made a huge difference. I think the Pats really missed Branch on Sunday, especially with those Caldwell drops.

The Bears remind me very much of the 2000 Ravens team. I think you may see a similar result in the Bowl with the Bears beating up the Colts. No home field for Peyton to rely on. No pumped in crowd noise or dome effects.

Pumped in noise? you're thinking of Seattle maybe? :D

and if I had to pick which QB would find a way to lose this game between Manning and Grossman, I sure ain't picking Manning.

The Bears may win in spite of Grossman, but I don't see the Colts losing because of Manning.

Pumped in noise my ass. Even had they been pumping in noise, it would have been drowned out by the actual crowd, which was as loud and unified as any I have seen.

And regarding Manning, generally the losses aren't all him. It's way too cliche to post losses on the quarterback...perhaps the game where he threw three picks to Ty Law, but I generally pin the recent Colts playoff losses on the entire team...or perhaps Mike F'n Vanderjagt. :battle:

There are things that concern me about the Colts -- namely the special teams coverage, the run defense, and the health of the secondary. Those factors will determine what happens to the Colts next Sunday. Manning is not a concern.

Domes suck anyways. I was way disappointed that we only had one snow game in this year's playoffs. They should just play every Super Bowl up at Foxboro or Chicago, in the s*** and the snow; that's playoff football.

True domes are on their way out. The Colts only have one more season in the RCA Dome; they will play starting in the 2008-09 season in a new rectractable-roof stadium. Granted they'll close the roof when crap occurs outside, but it still opens the game up to some outside elements.

Bleh. Not only would they close it in the rain or snow, but it only hits part of the arena anyways. Don't half ass it! Either everybody gets covered or nobody does. Not like that goofy place they've got up in Seattle.

I like Qwest Field a HELL of a lot better than the NotADome in Dallas. WTF is up with that stupid hole in the roof???

I would have loved for Ford Field not to be a dome.....but then again, Detroit wouldn't have gotten the Super Bowl that way. So I'm torn. I do love watching games in the snow.

Getting a Super Bowl in your city is a huge factor in stadium design. The RCA Dome was too small for SB consideration, but their new stadium is being built with a Super Bowl for the city in mind. For that Indy had to go with a roof, otherwise it wouldn't meet the NFL's Super Bowl venue criteria.

Im with you on this one bro.. I love Reggie Bush, he's great and he will be great for a long time.. Do you remember when Moss was playing with the vikings and he pretended to pull his pants down and moon the crowd that was in the playoffs a few years back

Huh? The Bears haven't dominated one team so far in the playoffs with their defense.

I totally agree. Although I don't hold it against the Colts for playing in a dome - just football is meant to be outdoors. I say rotate the Superbowl also - play one in Greenbay. Why don't those fans get a Superbowl in their backyard? Add my town Denver to the mix - so what if you have to play in a blizzard? I love watching those games.

Kudos to the Bears for winning the NFC, they certainly deserved it and the Saints just didn't have too many good plays in the game.

A big  to a lot of the Chicago Bear fans. I listened to talk radio down here today and it was largely recap of the game and people's experiences going up to the Windy City on the long road trip. Out of probably 20 - 25 reports, only 1 was good about the Bear fans. I'm interested to hear what my cousin and her husband said.

Taunting players and each other is one thing, but ripping on my city saying it should have completely drowned in Katrina and it's completely ghetto post-storm absolutely piss me off. And it takes a lot to really piss me off. And this, unfortunately, was consistent from almost all the callers. And alcohol is no excuse, you can't be that wasted to say such horrible things. I could go on and on but I'll wrap up the rant now.

I love my city, I love this region, despite it's many problems right now post-Katrina. I am proud to be a part of it, I am proud of the Saints, and I am proud of the resolve of the people here, many who are still going through so much trying to resume some kind of normal life. Shame on some of the Bear fans giving the great city of Chicago a bad name. Absolutely classless and low.

I hope we crush these asshats.

Colts defense > Bears defense in the playoffs.

The Bears haven't played a team the caliber of the Colts yet.

Oh? and De-throne-ing the league's #1 Offense isn't a team the caliber of the Colts?

So now Chicago Bears fans are ridiculed nationwide because some jerkoffs decided to make a Katrina mocking sign. That immediately turned 62,000+ Bears Fans at Soldier Field into Mean, Terrible people, who wish that another Cat 5 Hurricane runs right over New Orleans. Have you never heard of "Overexaggerating something"? Most of the sob stories of the NO fans (which I have read from NOLA.com along with other various resources) just read up to me as sour grapes from disappointed Saints fans. Know what? There were Saints fans that were just as drunk and obscene as ours were, they're everywhere, not just Chicago and New Orleans.

As for "Ford Field", I'm somewhat disappointed that it's not open air, or even retractable for that matter. The NFL's Black and Blue division, and half of them play inside....Still waiting on the new stadium plans to come in from Minnesota, and they'll probably be playing in a Dome. Ugh!!!

Just remember this: The Bears weren't supposed to beat Seattle, Rex Grossman was to have thrown an interception every other pass, and that it would be the Saints and the Colts in the superbowl. The Bears Defense was supposed to give up over 30 pts a game, and reveal Brian Urlacher as the most overrated player in the game today.

I can even bring this into play, as this is what ESPN's "Football Experts" thought of the Conference Championship week.

Here's to another .500 or less season in Green Bay! Cheers, Cheeseheads!

All the "experts" seem to be changing their pick at the last moment. After 2 weeks of how Grossman is the worst Super Bowl QB ever, now it's "Grossman will be MVP." We shall see.

The fact that Skip Bayless is picking the Bears big is encouraging to me.
