I am fed up with all the liberties being taken on red wings players. i counted 5 last night. Datsyuk, Maltby, Franzen, Hudler, and Lebda. But when Wings management, for better or worse, thinks guys like Ellis or Hussey might bring more to the table, despite maybe not throwing the bodies around as much........it makes me at least wander if Bootland can eventually play 3rd/4th line minutes consistently in the NHL, especially when he got a decent shot a few seasons ago and isn't getting any younger (although he's not an old fogey by any stretch). I get jumped on for having a few coy and humerous threads, yet this one keeps on poping up and is always serriously discussed. I just don't understand this place sometimes. NO Bootland doesn't fit on the team. He is good for nothing but picking fights, and yes I know that is what you want. It won't help the team though, and well isn't that what is really important? Langfeld is pretty worthless, but I don't see them sending him back down for any of the previous two mentioned. Both of them are bad fighters though, so the point probably won't be made.
