Some of us just happen to be on the inside.

Por ejemplo:

On my speed dial, I possess no fewer than three (3) ways to contact Robert Lang - my hetero lifemate and super duper bestest pal - via the phone in his home, in his car, or on his cell. I also have his AIM and MSN (we usually just use it to swap porn, though).

I was talking to him before he went to sleep (as is customary for him after downing three Hot 'N Readies) and laid upon him my wicked awesome Mike Babcock impression. In one swift blow, I crushed his hopes and dreams:

"DON'T EVEN f***IN' SHOW UP. FIL'S OUR GUY NOW."

What I wasn't prepared for was his reaction:

"Nobody benches Robert Lang! I will see yous Mr. Mister tomorrow at the Tank. You tell that Finnish son of a beetch to watch his back!" *CLICK*

An angry and inspired Robert Lang in Game 3? IT IS NOT OUTSIDE THE REALM OF POSSIBILITY GUYS.

lmao...

that was genius!

LETS GO WINGS!!!!! :siren:

I'm expecting to see a well-prepared and focused Wings team tonight. If our boys can weather the 1st period and come out tied or with the lead, I really like our chances. Since the Sharks have the last change, it is imperative that the Wings continue to keep San Jose's second line in check, and do what they can to further limit their first line. If they can do all the above, I think the Wings will take this game!

Go Wings! :D

The first period is going to be crucial. I hope and expect that we'll come out much stronger tonight than we did in the previous two games. Again, we'll need big things from Hasek, and a great game by our top line. We've got two chances to win one in SJ, let's make it the first one (but I wouldn't complain if we took both!).

Just to throw a little fuel on the fire.... :sly:

It was exactly 13 years ago today when #13 for the San Jose Sharks stunned the hockey world with a shot heard round the world....

Interestingly, both the goal scorer and the goalie will be in the Tank tonight. Jamie Baker is the color analyst on teh Sharks radio broadcast and Ozzie should be on the bench backing up Hasek. Hopefully, 13 is still an unlucky number for the Wings and that good juju can strike twice. ;)

Go Sharks!

Okay, I left work early today, got myself a two hour nap (was up until 3am writing a paper) and I'm all refreshed and recharged for the game.

That said, I don't want to see OT!

And to keep the mojo going...GO LANG!

I slept in this morning, wore my Lidstrom jersey all day (which was tough, since it was 84 degrees here), and bought a case of beer.

I am ready to watch some killer hockey tonight....I don't care how many OT's are needed for a Wings victory!!!

You Go Girl - Yeah, I remember it well. So far the Sharks playoff history is best known for first-round upsets. They're not such a big underdog this year. I'd really like to see the current #13 (Bill Guerin) have a great game, he's been pretty quiet so far, as has Marleau. I hope the Sharks second line can get going this game with the home ice matchups, and Pavelski. I think that could be the key to the next two games.

GO SHARKS

It'll be intersting to see if shifting to the Shark Tank actually helps us. There was a definite lack of concentration in the 1st period of games 1 and 2.

I like Bertuzzi for a good game tonight.
