My God. The Lions are gonna get such an insane beating on sunday. I think the goal here should be to just keep it respectable looking. Even if we can get within 10 points of Dallas, that would be good. As long as we dont get completely blown out by em.

The only thing im holding onto is the fact the Lions are 4-0 when i watch the game at my one buddy's house. Im going there Sunday cause its do or die and we need to try anything. So sad that this is the only hope im clinging to! :(

For the love of God, keep watching the Lions at his place! We need any sort of edge we can get!

If the Lions win on Sunday, I want you at everyone of their remaining games and hold you personally resonsible if you are not there and the Lions lose. No pressure.

Oh dont worry, i'll be up in there every game if we win! Unlike Kitna, i happen to think this is a must win game. I hope he was just bulls***ting to the media and doesnt actually believe that

People are over looking the Vikings, there a quietly good football team.. and AP is one of the best backs IMO

I do agree that the Viking are a good team. But no way in hell should we have got a total ass-beating by them. I certainly dont think much of the Lions, but I figured that even if we lost, it would atleast be somewhat of a close game. Especially considering we already beat them earlier this year. No way did I expect a total blowout. Im just glad I never let myself drink the Lions koolaid. Even when we were 6-2, I STILL didnt think much of this team. For the most part we're a ******* joke. Just like we always will be. Until we either change owners, or finally kick Millen's ass out on the street.

No I don't think anyone thought that it would be a blow out at all.. I don't think the Lions are going to make the playoffs now. If memory serves me right, I think the Lions play teams with a winning team from here on out..

Did anyone else see the refs blow the call on the final play in the Arizona/Cleveland game? Absolutely unbelievable.

Yeah that was unbelievable. That was the most obvious force out ive ever seen. What the hell were the refs possibly looking at? I seen the replay atleast 8 times. And every time I see it, it's clear that If the Steeler defenders hadn't knocked into Winslow, he would have easily came down with both feet in-bounds. How they could call that no touchdown is beyond me. Boggles the mind. I sure as hell hope the ref didn't have money on the game or something. Cause I don't know how someone could miss that call.

THESE ARE MY LIONS!!!!!!!

About damn time you came around. All those compliments you were giving them made me gag. :P

I honestly thought at the point of being 6-2 this was a different Lions team this year, but it's pretty clear that it isn't. The offense is terrible, and the defense is equally terrible. The OL couldn't stop a large beachball coming at them. It's a real shame when Jason Hanson is the teams best player night in and night out. Not to take anything away from him, since he is a good player, but the kicker should not be the teams best player. All it does is it shows the rest of the teams problems even more.

The Lions blew it once again, in fine fashon of course. This team stuns me in the fact that they find almost every imaginable way to lose a game. It's unbelievable that they continue to be so bad year after year. Every major Detroit sports teams has turned it around and shown success except the Lions. Is it Marinelli? Is it Millen? Is it Ford? It's getting hard to tell anymore, since there are so many problems.

Also, imo, Minnesota sucks. Adrian Peterson is a great player, no doubt, but that team is still not as good as the Lions managed to make them look today. They've managed to strap together a few wins against crappy teams like Oakland and New York, and of course the Lions, but that doesn't necessarily make them a good team. They could make the playoffs, but it will be a struggle.

Oh well. Might as well look forward to another top 10 draft pick, at least.

Damn. Gotta give them Steeler defenders credit, especially since the game was between the browns and cardinals.

Well now all the hope is gone!!! Wow...this team sucked me in this year, I knew their secondary and offensive line were atrocious on paper, but ugh...the homer goggles took over! I think Martz should be fired right now also.

I told my friend today we should try to get the Raiders spot in the draft by dangling Roy Williams to them. Screw it, they need a WR for Russell and lets find a way to get McFadden. Work it like Minny with AP and Taylor, then eventually move KJ out. Then hopefully by the time we have a halfway decent line, Stanton can step in, Johnson will be as advertised, and McFadden will be drawing LT comparisons!

Not to fond of that idea. I think we need a lock down CB......

Until we start protecting the QB, were gonna continue to get pounded by the opposition. Otherwise, Kitna doesn't have a chance to accelerate this offense.

Peterson is great, but I wouldn't get overly juiced up over the Vikings beating Oakland, the Giants, and Detroit. The media has been slurping them all day as the sleeper du jour. It's amazing to me how a couple of wins over bad teams and one win over a decent team suddenly make you the team that no one wants to play. This is the same team that got beat 34-0 by Green Bay with Peterson in the lineup.

They could--and probably should--end up with a wild card, but they aren't nearly as good as the media is making them out to be right now. It's like since Dallas played on Thursday and the Pats didn't play until tonight, they needed someone to jerk off over the weekend, so they picked the Vikings.

Well everyone has there opinion right.. When the Vikings played GB there QB wasn't playing well at all.. Now he's starting to play better, there D is really good. and we all know about there running game with AP and CT.... I guess you forgot that the Vikings beat the Chargers too, and there a pretty good football team.. I would agree that Oakland isn't a very good team. But you have to beat the weak teams as well if your going to get into the playoffs

we had the same problems last season and had an opportunity to fix it then and did nothing.

Can someone tell me where Calvin Johnson was on sunday?

I am getting sick of seeing 4wr sets with Roy Williams, McDonald, Furrey, and Walters. I find it hard to believe that he wouldnt even get a sniff in formations like that. Throw him out there as a decoy..i dont care..just throw him out there. Last sunday was a perfect example of something is wrong with the Lions franchise. Peterson was a beast out there. Lions could have had him. Joe Thomas is playing well for the Browns. Lions could have had him. Calvin is not playing and it just pisses me off. Hopefully Roys injury will allow Calvin to be on the field. If not, then there is something wrong that we dont know and Calvin is joining the long line of Lions 1st round busts.
