shannyfan1414 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2008 OK, I just can't stand him anymore. I think that he is a teriable hockey player and he is not worth having on our roster anymore. He skates like s***, he is huge but will not hit anything, he can't handle the puck to save his life, he takes stupid penalties, he turns the puck over the worse possible situations, and he just plain sucks. I want him gone. I was really hoping that we could have moved him today for a case of practice pucks, two rolls of tape and the three pairs of skate laces. But no, we hold on to him and all he does is continue to play like s***. Please take your best shot at Lilja. The other was a pivital game 5 against the ducks where he gave selanne the game winner. You can say whatever you want,...this should have been this,...that should have been that,..but at the end of the night Lilja will play great all night then make a bone head move that gives away the game,....he's gotta go. Out of the players I don't like on the Wings, Lilja is the only one who loses games for us. Rather than not being productive like Huds and Sammy, he is not productive and not defensive. SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted February 27, 2008 Baby steps people, baby steps. Wings have been pretty awful lately overall, not just Lilja. They at least got 1 point, which is a lot more points that they've gotten overall in the past 10 games. Players will be slowly coming back. Defense will have more depth with Stuart and will get more competiton for Lilja and Lebda and hopefully get them to reduce their recent brainfarts.
