Frankly, this game shouldn't have been close had the Wings kept up like they did a few games back. I'll take the win either way, but they need to improve their game (again). They completely took the game over once they had the one goal lead. A reminder that they play at about 60% most of the game. Which is scary if you're a fan of another team. Wingsallwin 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2009 Ok now this game shows us some solutions. Our problems were goaltending and 4th line. I feel sorry for posting that Ozzie is bad this season. Still think Ozzie is not back on his game but in last his four games, he showed he still can be Ozzie in the last season. Our 4th line did not play that well but this game makes sure that we really need Meech on this team instead of either Draper or Kopecky, not Maltby I guess. The real last thing is Zetterberg. He has shut down most of f***s tonight but he really needs to pick up points. Funny thing is that he is playing a great hockey game but he does not pick up points. He created his chances by himself but I still think it will be nicer to see Zetterberg being with Datsyuk. so my new ideal line is 1ST- ZDH 2nd- Hossa, Franzen, Cleary 3rd- Sammy, Filp, Huds 4th- Meech,Draper(or Kopecky), Maltby Good finish for our boys though! Kopecky was there and wasn't that bad, Meech moved back to D and is much better then Lebda. You're right, Draper did not have a single shift in the third, Kopecky had one, Lebda was also benched and Meech moved to D in his stead.
