I hope he dies soon honestly that is the only way he will be off the air. I'm honestly embarrassed to be Canadian every time that moron speaks. Don tells it like it is. That's why people hate him, they'd rather he just not say it. But he doesnt care about what other people think, he loves Canada, and Canadians because HES Canadian. He grew up playing, coaching, and watching Canadian hockey. He's said time and time again that he likes other players from other countries, but prefers Canadians. I'm with him, I prefer Canadian hockey players, but I still enjoy watching guys like Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, amongst others on other teams. I don't know if you watch Coach's Corner alot but over the past couple years Cherry has held absolutely nothing back in regards to criticizing Crosby. He actually ripped him multiple times, and in a pretty severe way just last year. Comments like the ones Cherry made about Ovechkin are what makes him Grapes. Some people like it, or at least realize it's Cherry being Cherry, and others don't -- and often find themselves offended and/or angry. Personally I love Grapes, I could watch just him for hours on end, but I can definitely see why some may not like him. It's definitely an acquired taste to say the least. He actually ripped him multiple times, and in a pretty severe way just last year. Comments like the ones Cherry made about Ovechkin are what makes him Grapes. Some people like it, or at least realize it's Cherry being Cherry, and others don't -- and often find themselves offended and/or angry. Personally I love Grapes, I could watch just him for hours on end, but I can definitely see why some may not like him. It's definitely an acquired taste to say the least. I do think there is a bit of Ovechkin can do no wrong with a lot of people on here. His over the board celebrations don't bother me that much, it annoys me a little, but I certainly don't make too much of it. I will admit, when he does it scoring a 5-0 goal, it annoys me a little more. Whoever mentioned that Stevie celebrated quite a bit after scoring in 2OT, well, I think that's a little different. Ovechkin has never scored a goal in that situation....let's not forget that this was a goal that won a playoff series instantly. Anyway, do I have a huge problem with it...not really, but I know there are quite a few that do, so I'm not sure what the big deal is about Cherry's comments. He showed all the stupid goial celebrations in soccer games and it if you ever watch a football game you will see some sort of stupid action move after practically every play. Most of AO's celebrations are fine by me but some of them are getting ridiculous and well excessive, almost taunting. I am a huge fan of Grapes too... always have been. Don't always agree with everything he says but I do with alot of it and he has the sack to speak his opinion.
