BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 Know what I used to do to my 12 yr old sister when she was trying to get under my skin? Ignored her. Just sayin'. What to do when it's the entire forum though? I can't ignore everybody, although 99% of the posters here aren't hoping for the Joe to be empty just because I, as a poster, can't handle the team losing a game. syntax 359 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 The Wings are playing like crap, but I don't think it's because they no longer give a damn. We don't have those kind of players. Agreed. I wish someone could figure out exactly what the problem is. Watching them like this is extremely exasperating.

BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 There have been a few posts if you read through them with statements "Oh that was just a miscommunication" and that variety.... I dont know how there are ANY positives in that display of heartless crap that the guys played tonight. call what what ever you want.. that was MY definition I can think of one. Babcock is finally publicly pissed to a point that I've not seen and a lot of others here haven't seen yet either.
steveyzerman 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 who is making excuses? I see a lot of overly-dramatic bitching with a sprinkling of common sense and some trolling going on, but I'm not seeing any excuses..... Overly-dramatic is relative to opinion. I don't think playing crappy all season & us complaining about it is being overly-dramatic, but that's me. Not you.
Jedi 1,865 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 That's a joke right? No. A joke goes something like this... A horse walks into a bar, and the bartender says "Why the long face?" See the difference?

I don't think playing crappy all season & us complaining about it is being overly-dramatic, but that's me. Not you. Wishing for players to die/get injured or the Joe to be empty on gameday or forfeiting games is most certainly overly-dramatic.

BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 Honestly ...It's about Freaking TIME too....I've so been waiting for him to get fed up and go off Just wish i could of seen it.......Now Im Pissed for all the bitching/griping/moaning and malevolence here, it's his problem to fix at this point. There's a reason the guy is one of if not the best coach in the NHL. But at this point, with 4 games left, there is only so much one man can do. Some of this has to come from the players. If they have any pride and being hockey players they do, hopefully they will raise their level of play. If not there is a bigger problem than the coaching or the goaltending IMO. I can't ignore everybody, although 99% of the posters here aren't hoping for the Joe to be empty just because I, as a poster, can't handle the team losing a game. Obviously, I wasn't serious. I don't think the Joe will be empty. But I was trying to get my point across about how heartless they look TO ME. & if you think publicly warning me in the forums is going to bother me, it isn't. Here, I'll do it for him. He told me to tone it down on the language in a PM & I did what he asked. Happy? & now everyone knows. Oh boy, I'm so embarassed. & maybe, if you're the only one who thinks everything's okay & 99% of the forum doesn't, you're wrong. Eh?

Im just glad to see the anger and disapointment come from him finally. All of us here as fans have been saying "ok next one guys" for too long. It's great to hear that Babcock is finally gonna kick some a$$ and take names. PLEASE upload the post game presser if anyone has it...PLEASE

I don't belive I told anyone to die or get injured. I mean, maybe Sammy. But if you can prove me wrong, go for it. I did say I hope the Joe is empty. It was a poetic comparison to the way they looked tonight. Do I really think it will be? No. Do you really think me saying that will get a bunch of people to not go? I hope not. It's great to hear that Babcock is finally gonna kick some a$$ and take names. PLEASE upload the post game presser if anyone has it...PLEASE Well I'm pretty sure he's probably been riding them a bit after the Trashville and Columbus games along with the Pittspuke game from earlier on to name a few. Motivation issues are something that are either really easily fixed (and with a veteran team like the Wings it should be easy to get through to them you'd hope) OR they can completely destroy a team no matter what the coaches attempt to do. Usually (as was the case in Pittsburgh, it ends up with a coach getting canned). Something tells me we'll see a significant player change his address before we see Babcock get canned this year or next.
