I thought it was a pretty crappy fight, to be honest. They had a lot of energy, but that's it. Niskanen Threw the best punches of the fight, at the very beginning, and then crosby proceeded to push him, pull him, and throw some "pushes" to the face. Crosby's definitely a strong kid, and he showed that here.....
Came here to post this ^, props to Crosby for throwing down though.

this was more or less wrestling, niskanen had no idea what he was doing either, i think any of us could beat niskanen in a fight, he isn't a tough player an he appears to have never fought before judging by this altercationNot many of the high end players like Crosby will drop the gloves and given that he isn't known for fighting I thought he did pretty well... want to see some horribly bad fights google some of Gretzky's and then this one looks like a George St. Pierre fight in comparison.

Crosby is now 4/5 in his fights. He can do everything.
You counted this as a fight?
But yeah i would say hes won most but this one was pretty cheap jumping someone off the faceoff that had no intention of fighting.

Not true. This fight was more energetic because of all the pulling and ragdolling. Datsyuk actually fought someone who knew his way around a tussle so there was more strategy involved. Let Crosby take on Perry and see how he fares.Much better than the Datsyuk fight, but you guys don't make it seem that way. You guys aren't hockey fans, you're just Red Wings fans.

The Dats fight was much better IMO. If you watch any of the heavyweights, you will see that they are much more controlled than in this fight. There was a lot of energy here, but that doesn't result in a good fight.Much better than the Datsyuk fight, but you guys don't make it seem that way. You guys aren't hockey fans, you're just Red Wings fans.
I do give props to Crosby for apparently trying to shed the lid. I hate when players don't do this (see Kunitz's fight from this game). He may not be my favorite player, but I will applaud this.

One magical day, he's going to run up against someone who knows how to fight and they're going to beat him within an inch of his life. My heart of hearts hopes it's someone like when he fought zidliky (although not zidliky obviously) Just some random european D man who isn't going to take an ass beating from the NHL's poster boy.
Paging Jonathan Ericsson,.......
