Just something to kill time and break up the monotony until training camp!
All I have to say about Holland and our off-season:
and finally
Holland is a damn good GM. period.

I guess whatever happens, I will be a little happy and a little sad.

"The Red Wings have agreed to terms with goaltender Joey MacDonald on a two-year deal."
Not sure if this means he's the back-up, or if it's just an AHL deal.

I really hope it's an AHL deal. I do not want to see Joey MacDonald be our back-up.

I don't have the link, but there was a report last week that he'd be open to coming back to Detroit to play for GR, as long as it was a 1 way deal, so he was making NHL money and that is what I suspect this is - They signed him to a 1 way deal, with the intention of him playing in GR, however, if needed, he's a good back-up plan...Right after voting on this topic I saw this on Twitter:

Good thing we don't play any games at the Joe, considering he has about a .01 win percentage there... oh, wait...Marty Turco. Go Blue!

He'll be the back up to the back up which will be Ozzie (in my world). But I do think that if that's the case it's a good signing and really hope we'll be hearing that Ozzie has agreed to a 1 year contract.they just signed joey mac for two years
backup goalie figured?
bye-bye ozzie?

Thanks Offsides

Nor do I, lol. Although, I think Emery is probably the "strongest" goalie out there in the FA market based on talent. At this point I wouldn't mind a trade for a solid back-up.
