puckbags 863 Report post Posted March 13, 2012 I can't believe the day is half over and the game is not for another 9 hours. WTF am I supposed to do when I get home? It's kinda funny I live on the west coast and I prefer to watch games in eastern time, start at 430, done by 7. Must be really tough on the east coast people. NBCnothingbutcrosby 159 Report post Posted March 13, 2012 Wings win tonight. Cleary puts the team on his back and scores 10 goals from the left side with his soft slap shot from the blue line, even though the middle of the ice is open.
arag 308 Report post Posted March 13, 2012 I hope you get your wish! I am going back to the Joe for the first time in 11 years at the end of the month. ChelisChick and I are meeting WizardofOz30 and ACalltoArms at the games. Motown may never be the same!! I know the team is missing Pasha and Nick out there, along with the rest of the injured... but I am so proud of them for what they've managed to do in spite of the tough situation. Strength in adversity! I am especially proud of Valtteri and how he's become the mini-Pasha we knew he could be. It all bodes well as we head toward the playoffs... just wait 'til everyone is back. I am in the minority but i love the late games, even with the time change making me in the mornings. I can get home for the entire game, and not risk speeding tickets or worse trying to get home. sounds like fun . I am sure Joe is going to see lots of great games. Enjoy it while you are there ! rrasco 1,312 Report post Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) Who else is happy to see Gus on the second line? As Mick would say, the kid gets it. Franzen was in a good mood this morning. While talking to him about young Gustav Nyquist, his likely winger for tonight, Franzen said Nyquist is better at one thing than Valtteri Filppula: "He's got a better shot than Fil." http://www.freep.com/article/20120313/SPORTS05/120313042/1053/sports05 Edited March 13, 2012 by rrasco

MabusIncarnate 5,359 Report post Posted March 13, 2012 I think it's safe to predict this one low scoring considering the Kings history this season and the fact that they can barely score more than a goal or two a game. I'm calling 2-1 Wings. GO RED WINGS!!

SetecX 139 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 So wait. April in the D this year does not involve s***ty bands and having to listen to the winning song 3,652,781 times during the month? And it is now a vote for pretty ladies competition? Double win.
