Imma let you finish, and your cap numbers are all good and all that, but imma let Kenny figure it out. Kenny's cap numbers were the best cap numbers this year.

Money of the Board-2013 Playoff Edition: Current $31 ($5 per series win {1}, $5 per series sweep, $5 per Kronwalling {2}, $2 per Jimmy shutout or fight, $2 per Tootoo goal or fight, $2 per Mule or Brunner goal {8})

No way the Wings are able to pick up both Weber and Suter, especially if the cap goes up by the close to $10 Million its projected to.Parise-Weber-Suter hands down. Just wonder if the urgency of replacing Nick would be the trigger for Kenny to finally float an offer sheet out to an RFA.

Do they WANT to do this?
Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

but obviously, I dont think there would be many who would pick Doan over Weber.
Imagine the Wings D as:
Weber - Suter
Kronwall - Ericsson
Smith - Schultz/Quincey
I figured since we were dreaming we may as well dream big

I really hate him too. His whiney attitude after the Yotes got knocked out reaffirmed everything to me as to why I dislike him. That being said, he can be a pretty good hockey player when he wants to beI never wanna see shane doan in a wings jersey.

Upgrade, yes. Replace, no.
Ok, got in my Hudler jab for the day. Carry on.
Back to topic. I'm torn between the first and third choices.

I meant his roster spot when Hudler is no longer there. As with the other guys I mentioned. I should have specified.LW- there is no way on this earth that Parise will replace Hudler.

I know. I was just in for a swipe at Hudler.I meant his roster spot when Hudler is no longer there. As with the other guys I mentioned. I should have specified.
I wouldn't say no to getting Doan either. If we can't get Parise (which would hopefully be because we got Suter) I think we have enough kids that a veteran wouldn't be a bad call.
That said, given how far Phoenix has gone this year, he may not want to leave.

Does anyone else stop reading the moment they see "CAPGEEK" in a post?
I'm beginning to.
Weber will not be a Red Wing, chances are he won't leave Nashville for a long time. We gotta consider scratching Weber as a possibility this offseason, I really really don't see it happening.
Aside from Doan having spaz face like Olli Jokinen on occasion, he would be a interesting add for a couple seasons. Definitely not one of my top choices though.
