I don't like this news at all.

The Wings can't even stay healthy when there's no season.

I saw the article Khan tweeted, BIG bummer for us and Flip if it ends up being serious. Playing elsewhere during a lockout: damned if you do, damned if you don't.

If Helm and Filp are injured, I'm in no rush for the new CBA. Fehr, Bettman, take as much time as you want. :innocent:

This just in - the wind blew; Datsyuk expected to miss eight months with shattered forehead.

6-8 weeks, per KHAAAAAAAN!!!

Bad news for Detroit Red Wings forward Valtteri Filppula, whose sprained right medial collateral ligament will keep him out for six-to-eight weeks.

Are the Wings insured for injury?

To answer your question...

Players who opt to play in Europe during the lockout do so at their own risk. Most have their NHL contracts insured in case of injury.

I'm pinning this thread, since it is Red Wings injury related. And, if there is a season any time soon, Flip will likely start it on Injured Reserve.

Please replace these components if use causes fatal damage...

Hmmmm. I wonder if he'll come back to Detroit for re-hab? I believe this is permitted no?

No, only if they were on IR prior to the lockout.

I guess this is a big deal if there's a season, since it'll be a shortened season, and we're bound to have other injuries, since Holland didn't do s*** in the offseason and we're already old.

But if there's no season, it's not a big deal.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Damnit Fil! Oh well, we have so many forwards signed for this season that I think we will be okay for a month if the season starts soon.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?
