StormJH1 231 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 33 years old, left handed shot, 6'4" 205lb, but pretty limited playing time the past few years. I have only vague knowledge of him from being on the Ducks. But I guess it's a warm body with some size an NHL experience, right? 1 Konnan511 reacted to this

kipwinger 8,559 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 Does anyone know anything about him? Also, why the hell would you sign him to a one way contract?
Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 Not going to pretend to know anything about this Huskins character. Google tells me he's big. That's a start.
sputman 1,268 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 Kent Huskins: 6'4" 205lb with 6 hits in 25 games last year. I think Howie has more hits then that already this year.

StormJH1 231 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 The one-way deal is kind of a concern. This seems like a guy who should be splitting AHL time. But frankly, I'm starting to think that there will be a spot for him in the Top 6 if he's at all healthy, given 48 games in 99 games and the issues we already have. evilzyme 769 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 Kent Huskins: 6'4" 205lb with 6 hits in 25 games last year.I think Howie has more hits then that already this year. to be fair, howie has bigger balls that 3/4 of our lineup. he also most likely has more fights than majority of our roster. kipwinger 8,559 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 Since when did the phrase "depth signing" become synonymous with "mediocre hack destined for 3rd pair or bottom 6"? 1 esteef reacted to this
evilzyme 769 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 ASSETS: Plays a safe brand of hockey that keeps the mistakes to a minimum. Is very dependable and will play through injuries. FLAWS: Lacks the overall skills to contribute on offense consistently. Does not use his good size nearly enough. Is injured a lot. CAREER POTENTIAL: Depth defenseman. So you're telling me we have Ericsson 2.0? I certainly hope we didn't just bring in another 200+lb player that plays like he weighs 102. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) this is a joke right?
