Wingsequallife13 8 Report post Posted March 29, 2013 This is pretty sweet. I've been able to watch him play the last 3 years at WMU and now can see him play for the Wings. I hope he can preform well and become a solid NHL d. 1 Jericho613 reacted to this

Nev 1,085 Report post Posted March 29, 2013 Well, it did kinda help that he was FROM Michigan. If he wasn't, I'm too sure he signs here. But who knows... Good signing nonetheless. Yeah, well if its Hollands fault that Parise and Suter's wife are from Minnesota, then Holland can get the credit for DeKeyser being from Michigan, y'know 3 55fan, ogreslayer and Greatness=PavelDatsyuk reacted to this

No trade partner needed for this one and aside from Stevie Y in Tampa, the other 28 GM's can suck it! That pretty much sums up how I feel about Dekeyser signing with the Wings, and it feels good. 1 Wingsfan72 reacted to this
Guest esmeralda575 Report post Posted March 29, 2013 Yes. That is why he signed with Detroit. I heard that he likes pizza. He got 2 little Caesars coupon as a signing bonus from Holland. This is what he got.Detroit owner doesn't have the money. He haven't signed anyone in the last 5 years and never will. Detroit have to wait until his son takes over the ownership, I guess. 1 Dominator2005 reacted to this

He hasn't the money? Then how do you explain spending over $182 million on two players in one day? I'd like to be so broke that I could afford to "not have the money" like Mr. I. VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted March 29, 2013 Sending him to GR eventually makes sense, but it makes a trade less likely, which was the opposite of what I was expecting.

wingsdiehard13 33 Report post Posted March 30, 2013 does this year count as one of the 2 years of the contract? I believe if he plays in something like 5 or 6 games (it's an odd number because of the lockout) it burns a year off his contract.
