sjr2012 439 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 I love how's it Howard's fault for the team falling apart in front of him. I don't think we touched the puck more than a couple times in like 12 minutes. Howard is a part of the blame, but no one should single him out. It's not like he let in a Carey price type goal tonight. or a quick
Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 Now I wish we'd picked up a defenseman at the deadline. Any word on which hand it is?
The Greek 323 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 OK, am I the only one who wants to see Lashoff in for Smith on Saturday now? No, you are not. They're not really the same player, but smith has brought nothing to the table. I'll take solid D over nothing any day.

hankzet40 233 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 f*** me. I wanted to say winning the game after almost blowing it gives them more momentum in a way but losing Danny D is devastating.

Guest Crymson Report post Posted May 3, 2013 This does not bode well. Dekeyser has easily been the Wings best dman since he got here. That's a bit of an exaggeration, given that he has been playing against the opposition's 3rd and 4th lines.

jeff48109 474 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 per Khan and St James, franzen passed a concussion test and would have returned when Gus scored

GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 With how badly the Duck's forecheck had the Wings frazzled in the 3rd, I want no part of White being in the lineup. Agreed. White is the last of the three d-man options I want to see play on Saturday. Colaiacovo moves the puck well, so I probably prefer him slightly over Lashoff. Shame about DeKeyser regardless. Stepped right in and played like a veteran. The Wings will miss his speed and sound defensive play on the back end. I thought he was the best d-man for the Red Wings in the first two games. 4 Hockeymom1960, Lazerbeam, DatMuleZ and 1 other reacted to this

Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 http://www.nhl.com/ice/recap.htm?id=2012030162&navid=nhl:topheads ANAHEIM – Make room in the oral history books for this edition of Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Red Wings. While the stakes were not quite as high as in previous meetings in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the final 22 minutes represented everything that is heart-pounding and gut-wrenching about this rivalry. Euro_Twins 4,476 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 wait, I missed something here when did dk break his thumb? this is very bad for us... this news makes me question our ability to go deep in the playoffs, hopefully colo can step up big time, but with how physical a team anaheim is, I don't know how long before he gets injured again
Hiei 192 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 We need to pair someone with Kronwall who can handle the puck around and do the offensive bit. Leave Kronwall to skate around the ice and look for someone to Kronwall into next week. 1 datterberg1340 reacted to this
