I'm not surprised that it's come to this at all.  Certainly our defensive corps stepped up, but we're still young and undisciplined.  Q&S should not be a pair. SHOULD NOT.

Overall, You're talking about a #2 seed that's been solid all year long vs. a team that backed their asses into the 7th seed and the playoffs.

You guys all act like we're SCF bound when you know goddamn well we were praying for the playoffs!!

...either that or you just like to bitchandmoanbitchandmoan no matter what we do.  f'ncrybabies.   yeah, you know who you are.

My #millermancrush is undeniable. You're my boy, Drew!

Almost incredible how predictable that was when the Ducks made it 4-2. You could literally see the panic in this team. Howard looks shaky as hell and will not save many shots in OT I'm afraid. We need to strike fast and first if we are to have a chance.

Can't stay awake any longer so I'll watch OT in the morning.. preparing for disappointment.

Why does Brendan smith kill penalties and on the ice all the time

Because he's probably the 3rd best D-man on this team right now.

Yes, that is pathetic.

Don't take it from fans on LGW, take it from his peers. NHL players have spoken and they think Tootoo is the dirtiest player in the league.

Get a clue already.

I can't wait for when the Wings score and everyone is back on the bandwagon. Not watching the OT my ass. This place is pathetic.

They haven't been able to hold leads all season.  They wont be around long if this trend continues.  I'm not really blaming Howard, but great goalies make big saves when their teams really  need them.  He really needs to shut the door in OT or we're screwed.

Worst post of the evening.... :nono:

Agree... If they win. If I have to watch these goons and their manufactured, bandwagon fan base go nuts after an OT loss, I may go catatonic.

Brendan Smith, please remove the balls from your mouth and cease sucking on said balls.

Can not even believe this complete meltdown. Howard, what happened to you?

I hate to say this but how this game ends will determine the series.  It will be hard mentally to go down 0-2 with a 4-1 lead in game 2.  SO ... we must score and win.  Babs, draw up a play for the PP goal!

Time for Pavel or Hank to score their first OT playoff goal.

We need our stars to carry us.

That last goal was Emmertons man. We have OT to fix this mistake. It doesn't matter if it was 4-1 or 5-4... A win is a win.... Go home with this series split.... Finish it right

They haven't been able to hold leads all season.

This kind of thing goes back many, many seasons.

"If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of the potential, for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating, as possibility!" - Kierkegaard
